We spent 10 days in a rentet apartement without aircondition in Antibes, so for a weekend getaway and the chance for a good nights sleep in a well airconditioned room, and the celebration of my boyfrinds birthday, we treated ourselves to a stay here.

We had the "romantic getaway package" in a superior room with terasse and sea wiew - awesome that included romatic decoration in the room ( paper hearts, towel swan, and fresh flowers..) three course set meny, and a class of champagne each. I will suggest to drop the paper hearts!

The ad for the package also said check out until 2 AM ( when availability) this was not available for us, so we were a bit disapointed by this, but we used our 24 hours well, we had lunch - great!!
we used the rooftop jacuzzi, and had Beverly iced tea, lounging on the sunbeads on the roof, just loving life and a bit of luxury. it was full by the pool while we were there, so we did not try it.

The dinner was ok, but it would be nice with a little bit of choice even if its a set menu.If you didnt want fish, the only choice was duck for main course, wich was fine, but also the only choice.
The staff was very polite and serviceminded. Everyone spoke very well english!

The room was not big, but the terrasse with chairs, table, and sunbeds was very big. The bed was comfortable, I am not fond of pillows that are too firm, and theese were a little on the firm side for me.The bathroom was very nice and clean.

It was expensive, but soo worth it, for a special occasion. I would love to go back, just have to save up a little more money first so we can stay in that beautiful room atleast a full weekend:-)

Off course they have cheaper rooms as well, but i totally loved the seawiew so I recommend.

Room Tip: Treat yourself to a room with seawiew.

My husband and I loved our stay at this wonderful hotel in Nice. The staff was kind and inviting. The room-- with its sweeping views from the terrace overlooking the Baie des
Anges--was breathtaking. This is the kind of hotel that puts the big name places to shame--everything about the experience was authentic Nice, not fabricated nameless luxury. If you want to enjoy a peaceful quality stay, away from the flash, this is the place to go.

We loved our stay in this small but beautiful hotel. The staff was more than friendly and helpful and their English was excellent, much better than our usual experience in France. Sure you pay a price premium for the location, but the view is breathtaking and if you like to wake up with a big smile on your phase when you open the curtains, this is the place to go. One possible improvement is the relatively poor quality of the free WiFi. Of course one can pay for a faster, premium service, but at this price level I would expect not to be bothered with trivial matters like that. We haven't tried the "relaxation area's" such as the fitness and the pool. The latter looked a bit smallish, but what can you expect at a location like this. The beach is just across the street so who needs a pool anyway?

Very good location, not in the busiest part of the street walking distance to old town. The staff are very friendly and helpfull, always greet you with a smile. The service in the restaurant was also great. Our room had a large terrace with sea view, wonderful!!! Breakfast was of high quality. Would recommend this hotel to everyone!!!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are worth every penny!

The hotel entrance is not very exciting and I was quite ready to be a bit disappointed after the Telegraph review that I had read, but from the moment the smiling person at the reception desk welcomed us until the last minute of our stay, everything was delightful.
We were told we had been 'upgraded' to what seemed to me to be the best suite in the hotel, set into the hillside with a truly magnificent view over the bay of Nice. We had G and T's sent up to our room and watched the sun sinking down slowly from our beautifully positioned terrace.

Dinner later was really delicious. The small and discreet kitchen alongside the open air terrace produces very fresh and tasty cooking.

We had 'eau de vie" taken up to our room and sipped as we enjoyed the twinkling lights of the bay set against the navy blue sky before finally collapsing onto an enormous and very comfortable bed for a brilliant nights rest.

We will go back, and soon I hope.

Hotel La Perouse is a fabulous little hotel within walking distance to the historic part of Nice (with lots of cafes and shops). It is on the water--our room had a beautiful view of the sea. It is situated near a park and the port and you can walk along the Promenade des Anglais next to the beach. The room was lovely, with a very nice bathroom and balcony. We would definitely stay at La Perouse again.
