Just around 10 mins pleasant walk from the action, 1 minute from the excellent modern tram system which costs a euro per journey but most places within reasonable walking distance if you're in the mood. Modern, clean, recently refurbished building. Rather nice Romanesque tiling in the bathroom. Proper double bed. Yes, traffic could be a little noisy but really not that bad and as another reviewer said - this IS a city. Try finding somewhere quiet in London! Pleasant reception staff. Difficult to fault really and we'd probably use the same place again if we returned.

We had a great stay at the Relais D'Acropolis. The room was spotless and modern, with a nice sized bathroom. We couldn't hear neighbour noise which was excellent and there was only a little bit of noise from the street. You are in a city though. If you are expecting silence then your expectations are a little unrealistic. The tram is incredibly close and convenient and the staff at the hotel are very happy and helpful. Our only complaint is that the wifi was a bit hit and miss. This was incredibly frustrating and the staff put it down to bad weather. Overall, we would stay here again.

The rooms are tiny and very poorly lit, though quite clean. The one we stayed in had a single small window which was blocked by a wall so quite claustrophobic. The staff is really quite cavalier and the hotel itself is really more of hostle. But the location s great sicne you can walk to the center or even the beach (if you enjoy walking) otherwise its well connected by the tram!

We stayed for 5 days during October 2012. Situated just 50 metres off the tramway - right opposite the conference centre - which was a superb way of travelling around Nice. Public transport was very cheap! 10 minutes of reasonably brisk walking to Garibaldi square and the start of the old town, 15 minutes to Massena square and 20 minutes to the waterfront. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was a basic buffet, limited choice but more than adequate for us. Rooms were on the small size but this was not an issue for us. Would stay there again.

Sept 3rd - 10th
This trip was booked through Jet2 Holidays.
The Relais Acropolis is situated a little way out of the city centre but is not isolated. There are good transport links within 100m - especially the excellent tram system. It is a ten minute walk to Place Garibaldi from where the airport bus arrives and leaves.
The hotel is positioned on a busy intersection but the double glazing keeps out most of the traffic noise. I am a light sleeper and I was not disturbed. The excellent air conditioning meant that the windows could be kept closed at night.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgable and, although check-in was a little brisk, there was always a smile when entering or leaving.
The room (209) was not huge but served its purpose well. There was a folding bed in the room as well as a double bed - very comfortable. Some toiletries were provided in the en-suite and the cleanliness was excellent. A hair drier is also provided.
Breakfast was good with the usual continental choice of fruit juices, cereals, croissants, jams, meats, cheese, etc. The breakfast room would benefit from a few decorative touches - pictures on the walls, etc.
There is an excellent restaurant in the same block as the hotel (Au Moulin Enchante) which has received excellent Trip Advisor reviews.
After a busy day sightseeing we were reluctant to travel far for our evening meal so decided to try the 'Warm Up' restaurant at the bowling alley opposite the hotel. Don't go there! The Trip Advisor reviews are (mostly) accurate. There are dozens of cafes, restaurants and fast food establishments with two minute's walk. The area is also well served with a variety of shops and supermarkets.
If you are looking for a decent, well-maintained hotel in the city then this should fit the bill.
If we were to return to Nice I would be happy to stay here again.

I paid more than I would have liked, but the other budget options didn't seem up to par, so I spent $20 more and got this. The room is very nice, recently renovated with nice carpet and decor. The bed is fine and is a real double, not twins pushed together. The location is okay, right by tram stop #14. But not the best as far as walkability. The bathroom is actually quite pretty and they made an effort to give character to the rooms. Friendly front desk staff.

We stayed at this hotel for 3nights in August. We booked on a room only basis which gave us an opportunity to wonder down to the local boulangerie for some fresh croissants and coffee.

Upon arriving, the reception was very ckean and bright, quite contemporary. The rooms werent ready so we left our bags in the secure room and went for a short walk in search of lunch.

The rooms itself were compact, clean & comfy. There is a small flat screen tv, wardrobe space and a desk. Bathroom comes with hairdryer, shaving point and plenty of towels. The only downfall is everything was quite high up & i'm only 5ft 1" tall but i just about managed to reach the hairdryer!!

All staff were friendly and welcoming. There was 1 guy (didnt get name) but he was extremely helpful in giving us advice on trips around Nice.

In terms of value, its a short walk from main shopping area and old town. The hotel is right opposite Acropolis, 2 minutes walk from Acropolis tram station. Travel is very cheap around Nice but we walked most of the time & enjoyed wondering & exploring the little streets. Everything is within easy reach; beach, old town, bus station to Monaco, main shopping area, port; Id say about 15-20stroll. Even walking back at night i felt comfortable & safe.

Overall i'd stay here again.
