Really friendly staff and clean rooms and common room. So close to the beach! Really enjoyed my stay here. Can't recommend it enough.
They offer free walking tours of the city which are really inciteful and help yojesnr about the old town. They have bar crawls at night which is nice for meeting other people in the hostel!
The concierge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The hostel was super busy, but everyone was there to have fun. It is in a good location, close to the beach, and they even offered free beach towels! The rooms were very nice and modern, with bathrooms in the rooms. I would not recommend the walking tour- the guide seemed very uninterested and gave a lot of useless information.
Hostel Meyerbeer Beach is located just five minutes away from the Congres bus stop on the Promenade in Nice. It is only 30 minutes away by bus from the Nice airport while the Gare de Nice is just a leisurely 7-10 minutes walk from the hostel. I picked a Private double room and it was sufficiently big for two persons. The bathroom might have been a little small but had hot water in the shower. The hostel serves free breakfast with tea and coffee between 8 and 11am. The kitchen is also open till 1130pm and guests can cook or heat up dishes there. The hostel is located on the first and second floor but the lift is not for the hostel.
There are plenty of nice places to eat and drink around the hostel, a Carrefour right next door and nice market on the way to Galleries Lafayette. The stay was quite comfortable and rooms have AC for those hot summer days as well. If you want a cheap and reasonable option in Nice...this is the place.
Perfectly well located, just one block away from Promenade des Anglais and a straight path walking distance to the train station (Nice Ville). Beautiful place, comfortable, suite rooms (even the shared ones are suites which counts a lot of points for me) and they even offer some free snacks in the morning. Price, location, organization, cleaness, everything was the way it should be. I loved it. Just missed a hair dryer in the bathroom, they could think about it. Oh, and you have a small fridge in the room. Not all places are good like this.
This place is ideal if you want to keep a close watch over your budget. It's cheap but has anything you want. Breakfast was really basic but the room was more than enough for the price. Ideal for 2-3 nights. We had a great stay.
