A budget hotel in a great location . Overlooking the Museum of modarn art and not too far from the old town or the beach. The room, whilst was small was clean and all ammenites were in working order. The staff were freindly and helpful. A great value hotel for a traveler on a budget

We stayed at the hotel for three nights after extending our original trip to Nice by a few extra days. Very few hotels in the area had openings, so we had little choice but to book the Campanile Acropolis.

Service: good, friendly staff.
Room: tiny, hot, very poor. Small uncomfortable bed, poor bathroom - obviously needs refurbishing.
Location: 5 minutes from the old town, 15-20 minutes from the beach.

We stayed on the third floor, which smelt very strongly of smoke. Although smoking isn't allowed in the hotel, it was very obvious that someone was smoking a lot in their room. We informed the reception of this, and they put up signs on our floor shortly after. There was no improvement though - this was a shame.

The room was the biggest disappointment - it was very small and we spent 3 days climbing over our two suitcases to move around. The room quickly became very stuffy, and we had to have the AC on max to sleep at night - even though this was quite loud. Curtains were thin and let in a lot of sunlight early in the morning. The bathroom was not very good either - there was mould on the wall above the shower and the walls very worn and dirty. Everything from towels to shower gel were of poor quality.

I guess this is a decent budget hotel - don't arrive with high hopes though! I'm not sure if we were just unlucky with our room, but it was almost like staying at a hostel.

My wife and 5 year old son stayed here for the last week in May and had a great time in Nice. The hotel was perfectly adequate for us.

The room had three single beds but was not big. The bathroom was fine and had a nice tub. Our window looked into a courtyard that offered an interesting picture of Nice life.

Nothing was fancy about this place but it has a superb location right on the edge of old Nice and next to a beautiful Giribaldi square. All the staff members I encountered were very friendly and helpful and also spoke very good English.

You should be warned that parking is not free. Paying to park in the nearby garage was not cheap. Be prepared to pay 20 euros a day to park. This hotel offers no free parking. If you're taking the train the hotel is right on the Nice tram line and the stop is very close.

The location was excellent, near the city centre and the beach. Besides, the hotel offered free wifi, the rooms were clean, good and comfortable and the hotel staff was very kind and helpful. If you are searching for good price value, this is where you should stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We got an excellent deal booking through Venere.com as the walk in rate was 100euros a night. The room, although small was extremely comfortable, cleaned daily and the bedding and towels were also changed each day. It also had a really good view of Nice over to the mountains. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only one negative comment-the bath in our room was way past its sell by date!Excellent transport links, the tram stop is less than five minutes away. Bus 98 from the airport is 4euros to Garibaldi and the hotel is a five minute walk from there. Tea & Coffee making facilities are provided, however we did not have breakfast in the hotel which costs 9Euros preferring to use local cafes. Overall this is a very good hotel if you want a base to explore the area,I would certainly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Boulevard Risso have the better views.

Our double room 101 is super tiny but very clean and has a good mattress, extra pillows and blanket, and 21" flat TV. They also provided boiling kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom has a bath-tub, nice bath amenities and hair dryer, and the water pressure is good. Free wifi connection worked well. The staffs are friendly and helpful, especially Remi (thanks to him). I like the lobby area and public toilet near the lobby, very spacious and clean. Although the location is not in the most happening area, but it's still within walking distance to Place Massena and Promenade des Anglais (15-20 minutes). And it's a nice walk in the small alleys with many local restaurants and cafes on the way to the Cours Saleya (feel like we're in Italy). We got the flash deals from booking.com for EUR 47.5 per night including breakfast, and it's really a good deal. But without the flash deals, I don't think I'm gonna stay there since it's too pricey, instead I will choose other hotel near Place Massena.
