Located in a not-so-nice but relatively safe part of the city, just two blocks away from the walk-only Avenue Jean Médecin near to the Railway station.
Cozy restaurant, but tiny! Sits no more than 20 people in french-style, small crammed tables. The kitchen is just behind the counter, and this implies that your dresses will wind up stinking of cooked food for all the following day. This is not pleasant.
I ordered the cuttlets as an entree. The menu says "beignets de ton aux pommes de terre" (tuna fritters with potatoes). I found it a cheap and disappointing dish, which is better described as simple potato fritters. This was followed by tandoori chicken with dal curry and basmati rice. This was quite good, although the chicken was slightly charred. Good point is that all food was freshly prepared and in very generous portions, definitely enough for two people.
In conclusion, I had a satisfactory meal but good Indian cuisine is another story. Service is nice, polite and always with a smile. Not inexpensive.
