Just a few minutes on foot from the train station (Monaco a short train journey away along the stunning sea shore) and right on the corner of a main shopping street. The boulevard is about 15 minutes away on foot - the tram stops right next door which will take you closer to shore.

Although the area around the train station is pretty busy and noisy, we couldn't hear any street noise in our room. All in all good room and good service, no complains. Would stay here again.

Rooms weren't the biggest and the corridors are long, big and not very "cosy", but it had everything you would expect for the price, was clean and in great location. We didn't order any food so cannot comment on that. Would recommended.

We visited the hotel in June 2011, and found the location very handy from the train station - about a 2 minute walk from the exit. It is just outside the centre of Nice, and a 15-20 minute walk from the beach, about 10 minutes from the Old Town entrance. Overall, the hotel had friendly staff for the duration of our 7 night stay, and while the rooms were not big or overly fancy, they had all amenities that you would need, and were clean. Bonus for us was a balcony room, only the view of the train track, but nice to have all the same!

Room Tip: make sure to get a balcony room - unless you dont want noise from the train track, but it isnt so ba...

The hotel has large rooms, very neat. Friendly and helpfull staff. Good location, not far from the old center witch can be easy reached by the tramway (1 €).
Several nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.
There is no problem with the trainstation nearby. The rooms are very well isolated.
Good value.

Big room (for France), friendly and helpful staff, and within walking distance (a block) from the train station and also conveniently located - downtown, and just a short walk to Oldtown, all for a very reasonable price! No complaints!

We came to Nice to visit ATP tennis tournament in Monte Carlo which is not so far from this city. And this hotel was a good choise because of its location. It's 5 minutes from railway station (it is possible to use local trains as well as TGV trains to whole France), there are also tram and bus stops in front of the hotel. Nice walk to the old city and to the cost.
Provided services by hotel staff as expected. Willing hotel clerk to help with trips recommendations. Well equipped and clean rooms.

Room Tip: We had a room with window not to the street so it was really quiet room. But the view from the windo...

Indeed, Nice isn't a cheap place to go. This hotel has also its price but - compared to other hotels in France - this price seems rather justified. The hotel is situated in an old noble building, representing what is perhaps most valuable in France - the splendid architecture.
The room is adequate in size and equipment, clean and quite comfortable. So is the bathroom. What is important is the fact that the rooms are really soundproof: in 4 nights spent there, I never got woken up by noisy neighbors at night. The disadvantage is the proximity to the railways; unless you keep the balcony door shut you will feel like spending your night in a train station. This is partly compensated for by the interesting view from the rooms (going to the street) and the simple fact that you do not need more than 5 minutes to get to the train station.
A minor but annoying disadvantage of the hotel was the window glass: has it ever been cleaned yet???
