We had a very pleasant dining experience at La Massara. I noticed that a number of reviews were from people who ate there for lunch, but ours was a dinner meal. The only glitch in our experience was that I made a reservation online through a website called The Fork - which appears to have some connection to Tripadvisor. Anyhow, when we got to the restaurant there was no reservation. We were a party of 6 and I had visions of having to trek around Nice for a place to eat - but the restaurant got us immediate seating - and outside too! Cuisine is Italian, prices are reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. Restaurant located just a block or two off of the Promonade des Anglais, very near the Westin Meridian. Eating in Nice can be a roll of the dice proposition, but La Massara is a very safe bet.

La Massara is very great! We stopped by for lunch, and Got a pizza and some bruchettas. Very tasty food to a good price and a friendly service. We Are already planning to eat there soon again, but this time a 3 course dinner.

Had not discovered this place on our previous visits to Nice. It's close to some "tourist trap" restaurants but is anything but a tourist trap itself. Friendly, welcoming staff, and great service. Great carpaccios, both meat and fish. All in all, excellent, genuine Italian food and a really relaxing,family-friendly atmosphere (our kids loved the pizzas)

Sincere service (90% are Italian), family owned business. Not the fanciest you'll visit, but the quality of food and superior service is worth it all. They have a fixed menu, but serve 3-5 menus of the day, which are all amazing. We are in Nice 3 wks every summer and have finally found our favorite lunch place, and would also eat here some of the evenings. Go and enjoy!

Ate here based upon TA reviews. Loved it. The lobster pasta was amazing, as was the salad and pizza.
