I was in Nice last week for business and decided to have a very late dinner on Friday evening. Even at 21:35 I was received very friendly by the restaurant staff, offered a nice table and given all the time I needed to pick the dishes I liked.
The amuse bouche, fresh bread and other nibbles were a good way to start the meal. Dishes are small to medium size, but of great quality. Excellent wine advise is given at the table too.
I find it wonderful that Jan himself, normally to be found in the kitchen, makes time to have a little chat with every guest in the restaurant.
A top notch experience! I'll be back very soon!
