“An excellent option in Côte D'Azur”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

In the middle of the old city of Nice there is this small, cosy and very friendly restaurant.
This is a special place where you feel yourself welcomed any time. The menu changes as the weather, but always with delight options for starter, main and dessert. Please do not let the wine list aside, there are good wine for each dish you order. The price is worth.
A bientôt Chef Hubert!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Liked the terrine de foie gras. Found the filet mignon mediocare but very nicely presented. Desserts looked so yummy, unfortunately we didnt have room. Restaurant is fairly new so ambience is not so warm-Used to be another Wine Bar. Small but nice wine list and friendly service.

“Our favorite restaurant in Nice”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

We have been to Nice and other places on the Riviera several times and this time we found this little gem in the streets of Old Town. The all french menu is small with 3-4 choices of starters, main courses and desserts. One of the owner is happy to translate the menu for you. We really liked the food and ate there 2 times, trying different dishes each time. The flavors are clean and the dishes well presented. I had both veal and beef and it was both really tender and cooked according to my preferences. We also had a non menu item one night, a locally produced cheese with a sauce made from a special fruit that I don't remember the name of but that tastes like a combination of apple and pear. Both the sauce and the cheese were amazing. We really liked the seating in the bar where you could see the kitchen in action. We found it to be very well worth the money we spent.

“By far, our best meal in Nice!”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

My husband and I stopped by after reading the rave reviews of this restaurant. We didn't have reservations, but were there "early" (7-7:30) by European standards. The hostess was very nice and let us sit at the bar - which was cool, as it gave us prime seats to watch the chef prepare meals all night. The food was amazing, a decent price, and the service was excellent. Highlights included: the pork....extremely tender and flavorful, the sea bass, the cheese course, and the special treat when we ordered coffee, it came with home made caramel corn....delicious! The region's Rose' wine was excellent too. A special meal. Thank you to the hostess and chef who worked so hard to provide an excellent experience for all their diners.

“almost walked past”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

small restaurant in the old town - you could almost walk past it
however the place looks clean and buzzing - the decor is modern
it is a husband and wife operation so they work very hard
the menu is reassuringly small as everything is prepared freshly by chef
black pudding tarte fine with rocket , magret of duck with apple and an amazing chocolate mousse
also on menu john dory wwhuch was v tasty
wine list quality led and small but reasonably priced
service friendly
however you must book - the owner had to turn away farmore people than were actually in the restaurant during our evening - the sign of a good restaurant indeed
