We paid 51 Euro a night at Hotel Danemark. We got a double room with double bed with a semi ensuite (shower & basin) with the shared WC in the corridor. The accommodation is on par with a backpacker standard for this price. The ensuite was a simple make shift fill-in job within the room space. The room was average size for Europe and had a wardrobe, desk/chair and 2 bedsides. The room was clean however the shower cubicle had a significant amount of mould that got worse over our 2 night stay. There was no A/C and a silly little desk mounted personal fan that was useless in the heat. Due to mozzies you could not sleep with the window open. Breakfast looked pleasant however was not included with what we had booked. The owner was very friendly but had only owned the hotel for 1 month. It is a fair hike from the train station and would suggest a taxi. It is very close to the beach and reasonably close to the new town centre but a bit of a hike to the old town (ie opposite end of Nice). If you are after a cheap stay this is for you, but we would not stay again and would pay a little more for a better class of hotel.
