The hotel is located just behind the main train station in Nice.

The girl on reception was lovely and checked us in quickly.

The room was great and a real surprise, we were expecting bargain basement. The room looked like it had recently been re-decorated we had a lovely balcony and a little fridge. The bed was very comfortable we slept soundly every night. The shower was good except for the plug being a bit slow to drain which meant the basin filled up.

The Wifi signal was good.

Location wise its a short walk to the main high street.

Overall a fab place to stay and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We had room number 25 which had a balcony, im not sure all rooms have balconys

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Parisien. The rooms were clean, bright and very tastefully decorated. The location is excellent. The best part of our stay was the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful and certainly went the extra mile. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

So glad we chose to stay here! Our group of 6 girls from NI couldn't have met with a better reception on arrival, the English speaking staff were more than helpful at every opportunity. The hotel felt homely and the rooms were much nicer and cleaner than some 3/4 star hotels i've stayed in before! The hotel is exceptionally well located with the train station just across the road and the tram less than a 15 minute walk away. We encountered both air and rail strikes in our week away but neither were able to put the dampers on our holiday thanks to the hotel staff and their assistance with bus routes etc. I have read some poor reviews on here but these people can't have stayed in the same hotel as us!! P.S. We got ripped off by a taxi driver called Franck. Watch him.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 15 which had a beautiful little balcony - coffee and a croissant on the balcony was the perfect way to end our holiday!

Hotel was efficiently run and clean and we found the staff friendly and welcoming with very good English. Wi-fi worked perfectly in our room on second floor. We only had breakfast there on the last day as we were leaving early, usually we had coffee and croissants in one of the many local cafes around the not to be missed Liberation food market which is a few minutes walk away. Hotel is 10 mins walk from station ( less if you take the rather scary tunnel which runs from the road straight in front of the hotel under the railway line). You can pick up a tram at the station or Liberation ( which seemed much less busy). I think this is a well priced, well situated hotel in a very expensive city.

We were a little hesitant when booking our stay here due to some other reviews but in the end, our stay was fine and I guess by Nice/Cote d'Azur standards quite ok for this price.

The location of the hotel is good for travelling, as Nice Ville train station is only a five-minute walk away and lots of fast-food places, supermarkets, bakeries, etc. are in the area. The guy who runs this place was nice and helpful and speaks good English. We paid some extra money to "upgrade" our room to a "bigger" one that also included a fridge (standard rooms don't have one) but the room was still really small. Although it was clean, some of the furniture was a little dated (like the table or the fridge). There was only one available plug in the room (the other two are used by the fridge and the TV) and the extra plug inside the hairdryer didn't work due to a slack joint.
