I am a vegetarian and my boyfriend isn't and this place is perfect for both. The vegetable pasta sauce was incredible, house rose a fair price and very tasty and the chicken stew my boyfriend had he said was very very good. Would highly recommend and would keenly return!

Lovely restaurant, this was our second visit and as we recalled from last time the staff are courteous, the restaurant and out door seating is full of French charm and most importantly, once again, our meal was delicious. This time my husband and I both had the fillet steak which was double the portion of fillet you'd have in the UK. Both were perfectly cooked to our liking and served with delicious fresh ratatouille and sautee potatoes. I chose the mustard sauce also to accompany my fillet and it was wonderful. Desert was lovely - my hubby is a creme brûlée addict and I always order tarte tatin and both were classic and beautifully cooked! Choose an outside seat, book or be prepared to wait a short time, order wine and enjoy while you people watch and wait for your classic French food - worth the wait! ..... We were a party of 4 visiting the Cote D'Azur and staying in Nice. My wife had been recommended to book Chez Juliette. However, it doesn't have its own website. Emma used "Fork" restaurant booking website to make 4 reservations. We turned up at the allotted time, only to be told that the Restaurant does not use "Fork". After some discussion, they managed to find a great table for us. It is small inside and (like all French Restaurants) has tables outside. The lady manager/owner was clearly in control and, with her two waiters, ran a very tight ship. Many people were turned away, only to return and be accommodated later. The food was excellent. Shame about the booking problems but top marks for customer service.

They say it on the menu, only in English, that the food will take time to cook, apparently for those of us who come from places like New York and are not accustomed to waiting. Come in, order your dinner and wine, and enjoy the time people watching, discussing the highlights of the day, and sipping wine. The food will arrive in half an hour and it is worth every minute of the wait. Duck breast is juicy and satisfying size, and braised chicken is delicious. For the dessert try steamed pear with chocolate sauce. If you come on Sunday night you might catch the drag queen show on the street in front of the restaurant.

As we like to dine early, we visited this excellent and very busy restaurant twice this week, at 7pm (without a reservation). We totally enjoyed the food and wine experience, on both evenings. All of the staff were without exception, very courteous, accommodating and flexible, and it was such a pleasure to dine with them. We opted for Coq au vin off the specials menu, and warm goats cheese salad, off the a la Carte. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We had a bottle of Rose each time with our meals, which was good and reasonably priced at 21euro. This is a really great find (after 12 years of eating out in Nice). We were very pleasantly surprised to see the full English translation on the menu boards, for each dish . This restaurant will always be our first choice, when we return again next May.
