.... And thoroughly enjoyed it. Outdoor dining in the old town of Nice. Great setting, friendly waiters. Food is typically french. Sole was fresh and thick fillets. The rest of my family had pork, chicken and pasta, all of which were excellent. Finished with a crème brûlée with desert wine which made for an excellent evening. Not inexpensive, but we did have all of the really good things. I'd recommend this place.

We stumbled into this lovely restaurant on a quiet night. There were candles on the tables and orchid flowers on the napkins. We chose a table on the side street, we could see the dimly lit interior of the restaurant through a window. The atmosphere was very romantic.
We asked for English menu and a lovely young lady came out to explain the menu to us. We learned later that she was Juliette (the owner herself)! She looked worry because the business was slow, she said all customers were at the European Football match that night.
We ordered the Prix Fixe dinner menu, it turned out to be the best Coq Au Vin I've ever tasted in my life! We also enjoyed the potato fries, it was crispy outside and fun to munch. I could not remember the name of the dessert but it has pear and was exquisite!
We went back to this place two nights later, it was very crowded (no football match). I confirmed that the Coq Au Vin was still delicious and the quality was consistent.
We highly recommend this place for a romantic evening and great meal!
