The hotel is situated in avery nice position. It's easy to find and in a optimal position to round about all the area. You can walk to Port Grimaud, easily drive to St Tropez, and to the fantastic beach of Pampelonne and to Cavalier. Good the price.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, supposed to be a 4 star hotel but in fact hardly a two-stars...

1) The service was absolutely awful. The staff consisted in a few (really not enough) young people, obviously not formed and not offering the professional service expected in a first class establishment. Usually no one was present at the front desk, and no one was coming despite desperate ringings... Only one person was dedicated to breakfast, and in charge of everything. As a result, tables were neither cleared nor settled, and the buffet was an experience in itself, with everything missing... The first day I had to eat in a saucer, without knife and deprived of butter!

2) Moreover, the breakfast was not satisfying, although you like acid industrial fruit salad, frozen pancakes and waffles, or omelettes made of lyophilized egg powder... yummy!

3) You better need a car if you want to eat, as the hotel does not have a restaurant and the choice is limited in the area. Moreover, the road to Port-Grimaud is quite dark and not very "walking-friendly" at night.

4) No room cleaning was done, nor towels and sheets changed. The area around the iced pool was not cleaned and looked more abandoned as the rest of the infrastructures (tennis, golf).

5) The hotel is not safe as we were stolen in our room.

To conclude, you can recommend this hotel to your worst enemy with your eyes closed, but if you want to rest and enjoy this beautiful South of France region, find another place!!

Some have said in reports that this is not the best 4* they have ever stayed at. I'm sure that they are right. Don't forget this is a French hotel in France where the national language oddly enough is French. My French is poor but making an effort with the staff who all speak a little English made a real difference. I had a room with AC and it was ok. There was a heater in the bathroom and one of the best hotel showers ever!!

I agree to that there is no food here except for the breakfast (a breakfast by the way I thought was just fine). If you can't plan ahead and go for the short walk to the supermarket, market stalls or cafe then I guess you will go hungry. If you do head for adventures and step outside you will find local food close by, a supermarket within five minutes walk and also 10 food outlets - most surprisingly good and at 15 minutes walk there are over 20 restaurants and snack bars on the waters edge. I could not find one place, thank god, that did bacon and eggs or even offered fish and chips.

If your expecting the Hilton. Don't come. If you think the Golf Course will be like the US Open. Don't come. If you want a clean friendly place close to St Tropez at a fraction of the cost. And you will venture out to eat its a great place to stay

Connecting to the Internet is a little frustrating but for emails it's great. If you want to download the latest Hollywood Blockbuster...... Being a laptop sit in your room and don't explore

The hotel could have an up-to-date bus time table to St Tropez and also a map on how to get to some local things and places to eat. But for under €80 per night quite happy!!! Thanks

Room Tip: I'm in a top floor over looking the tennis court. Is clean and I've had no trouble sleeping

We stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was as expected for a 4 star hotel. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and really comfortable. The location is great for walks to Port Grimaud and Ste Maxime and there's a beach within a 10 minute walk. Locally there are small shops and accessible facilities of a campsite nearby also which are reasonably priced. We didn't partake of the breakfast which was an extra 15€ but we didn't think it was worth it given location of cheaper places nearby. It appeared to be standard buffet cereals, pastries etc with some hot items. We would happily stay here again. It is possible to get here from Nice using the bus services, we found reliable information on the Internet.

It's apparently a 4star hotel, well I've stayed in a few in my time, and it would be lucky to get a 2, at best , the Internet access is poor, you are greeted by a teenager, who in fair play its not his fault, dealing with complaints, when really there should be a duty manager in presence, as for the hotel it's self, very very dated, probably was a 4 star in its day......ie 1970s but not anymore, will not be coming back

The sun does not shine at this hotel. Rooms have seen their best years and the cleanliness is questionable. The AC is bearly working (if you are lucky). One of ours did not have any at all and that is not acceptable when the outside temperature is 35 degrees celcius. Some of the front office staff do noe speak any English and could care less about their guests concern. Also there are no restaurants or food service on the property besides breakfast. For sure there are far better choices in the area. Stay away.

This place has seen better days as has most of St Tropez. The rooms are dated and the aircon is ineffective. The TV channels are only French and German and no cable. Poor value for money.
