we were recommended to go to this place by a friend from Monaco, which she said was a nice place to sunbathe with great views and a lovley restaurant.
we were not disappointed.
the views were great, we were staying just down the road in Cap Martin, and the beaches there are all large pebbles, a nightmare to walk in and out of the sea.
this sunbathing area and restaurant sits on the rocks by the sea, and there is a jetty that you walk onto, to allow you to enter the sea away from the rocks. you therefore do not need to walk on any pebbles to get into the sea, but there is no shallow area to swim, just the deep sea.
the area is cordoned off by bouys, the water can be choppy, but there was a refreshing breeze.
the restaurant was lovely, beautifully presented and very tasty
the staff were all lovely, friendly and accomodating.
the beds are not cheap to hire - 25 euros each. but worth it for a one off.
the clientele are generally couples, or families with older children (late teens)
very quiet and sophisicated.
would definitely recommend
