Friendly staff, great food and wonderful view... The music is carefully chosen by the owners and staff. One of the best places around...

“Love it !”
Reviewed 20 April 2013

La souris d'agneau est juste incroyable, le personnel plus qu'acceuillant et l'ambiance du soir est vraiment au top.
Une addresse à ne pas louper.

The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and the night time is wild. Whether you want a quiet lunch, a relaxing day on the beach, a romantic dinner or a fabulous party time, you won't want to miss Le Falbala.

“nice spot, but a bit ordinary otherwise”
Reviewed 24 August 2012

This is a funky looking beach bar, right on the beach, and the service was quite good - better than often in France but nothing special!
The food was a bit 'pleased with itself' and portion a little small, but quite tasty (prawns) - I would rate it average.
The music was very good and quite loud, but thats ok if thats what you are after - there was a nice buzz about the place.
Quite expensive, but then you are really paying for the views.

“Food with a view”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

le Falbala is a beach restaurant with great food. Not always a combination you can expect on the Cote d'Azur. We've only eaten from the blackboard daily specials which I always think gives the best and freshest options at a restaurant and our meals met our expectations...fresh and good. The view from the restaurant of the sea and sand is very beautiful. It night watching the lights come on up and down the coast is magical and during the day the sun and sand are magical. We did not use the beach, but I agree with a previous owner, there was lots of room between the beds, unlike the beach restaurants in Nice and Cannes and most other restaurants like this. Valerie and her staff were very pleasant and helpful and made our visits so much more enjoyable.

“Wrong Attitude”
Reviewed 5 September 2011

Being no stranger to Beach clubs / restarants, we were recommended Le Falbala by friends whilst staying in the area, having reserved a table @ 9.00 pm. The starters were good and interesting, mains Tuna steak which anyone could easily achieve at home, and a Prawn Wok main course which can only be described as bizarre, Stir fried Prawns with French Beans, Carrots and Peas, not the fusion one would expect, more desperation.
The insult of the evening was that my wife ordered a dessert that required a ten minute cooking process, we were told by a smiling waitress that ‘ there was now a problem with the oven and the dish was no longer available’ having re chosen a frozen dessert to end our meal, the chef appeared changed into casual cloths two minutes later to have a beer at the end of the bar – funny that?
Not worth the 145e we paid!
We ate at our return stop ‘The Holiday Inn’ in Dijon, what a surprise, quality, originality and price – send the chef there he could learn instead of fooling himself.
