“Nice, comfortable, but deathly quiet stay!”
Reviewed 19 April 2013 via mobile

Don't think we saw another hotel guest, maybe that is why it was sooooo cheap. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we would have given this place 5* but lack of basic facilities, tea/coffee, ironing facilities in room have stopped us. Free parking is a bonus. Breakfast is expensive, our advice turn right towards st tropes and stop at a roadside bakery or turn left and head into st maxime for a lunch by the harbour!

We had booked the hotel for one night and we arrived in the evening on the day for our check in. Unfortunately the key card for the room did not work the first time and I had to go back to reception to get the card re-programmed.

After unpacking our bags in the room we discovered that the WiFi signal in our room was very weak and that the heated towel rack in the bathroom was also not working. After discussing the issue with reception we were offered a new room which we were grateful for. We were given ample time to move our things across to the new room.

After checking into the new room everything else went smoothly. The lady at the reception was very sympathetic to our problems with the first room and was also very helpful with answering all our other queries. We even went for a swim in their heated pool and made use of the fantastic steam room!

The rooms were spacious enough for the both of us and the furnishings were all fairly modern. There were also plenty of parking spots at the front of the building for our hire car. All in all a very pleasant stay and if it weren't for the minor problems at the start I would have given them a 5 star rating :)

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in July. When I called the night before arriving to check our booking the hotel said they had no record of it. Then, after a while, they found the emails but the hotel was full up. They found a room in another hotel for us but when we arrived to transfer to the alternative hotel they had found a room after all which we spent one night in. The hotel was very friendly, efficient and we enjoyed our stay. Food was good for the price and we enjoyed the fact that there were hardly any other english staying! Lots of French and Dutch families - if you want a child free hotel don't go there! Pool was fantastic and room clean with a balcony and view of pool. Altogether a great place but you need a car as taxis wont go there unless paid an extortionate amount. Nice walk into town - about 15 minutes along the sea front. I would go there again without hesitation. Fabulous boat trip out to see and round coastline.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on top floor with view of the pool - you can see the sea from the top floor.

Watch out is a long way to go on foot 15 minutes to the centre of the town, but you see it once , jou have. Seen it. Recommends boattrip to st tropez on thuesday and saterday. Possibelity to park the car.

This was a beautiful resort type hotel but he room was tight. When I was set up with my lap top at the desk, there was no room for my husband to pass behind me! WIth the patio doors,it did give you some sense of space when the door was open.. The outdoor pool was impressive and the patios near the dining room beautiful as well. Staff were helpful and tried to accommodate any requests we had. Beaches are handy and we took advantage of this as well!

This 3 star is up for an additional one. We found it very good vallue for what we paid, € 65. Room is well appointed, modern bathroom fittings, flatscreen etc and clean. I would have payed the little exta for a room with a balcony and view on the swimming pool and the Med sea if would have stayed longer. For one night's stay the back view on the green hills with villa's and well kept gardens did perfectly well. The hotel has got all the amenities you need for a holday, in and out door swimming pool, pool tables, gym, hammam, massages non of which we used. It,s very practical when you are with your own care driving around the riviera. The free parking is a big plus. Breakfast buffet is okay, nothing special. Staff is friendly and multi lingual.

The hotel is lovely but painfully expensive for those on a lower budget. Breakfast and pool facilities were gorgeous. The staff are hit and miss, sometimes ok sometimes lovely and extremely helpful! It is about 15 mind away from st tropez, and lies in the heart of the quaint st maxime, with a lovely beach on its doorstep.

Room Tip: Be careful with your bed specification, they gave us a twin initially when we had actually booked a...
