We arrived and booked last minute
We received a beautiful and spacious room overlooking the pool, With a spacious balcony.
But although the room was a sign of a non-smoking room - The room smelled strongly of cigarettes!!!
There is free parking and a large outdoor pool and an indoor pool
You can get pool towels from reception but they did'nt told us that it costs 3 euros. Also when we return the towels they told us to put them in the room but when we check out they charge us 60 euros unless we bring the towels from the room.
Large bathroom and comfortable and the bed large and comfortable too.

Room Tip: Better the second floor room overlooking the pool Rooms on the side of the pool are facing also the...

Good property located on a hill off the main road linking Ste Maxime to Port Grimaud. Thanks to a small botanical garden in between you don't hear the noise from the busy road. A blessing in this part of the world now completely overwhelmed with tourists far exceeding the capacity of the region. The pool and garden settings are the very strong point of this hotel. Note that the pool can be cold due to its large size I reckon.

The hotel is reasonably comfortable although in need of a paintjob on the outside. Room small but adequate for spending the time outside. Bed a bit on the small size as well. Get a room with pool view. Very good price compared to other hotels in the region.

Restaurant OK for one night dinner and breakfast, nothing special looking at the price (OK it's very expensive South of France). Service OK with not very experienced personnel who probably just arrived for the start of the season. Nice bar for a relaxed drink.

We liked visiting car-free Port Grimaud and having dinner there the second night before the tourist season. Grimaud (in the hills) is also worth a visit for its settings and a couple of small restaurants plus the wine bar next to the place du marché parking, mind the very narrow streets.

When paying the bill we missed a double charge for breakfast. We sent a mail a few weeks later and the charge was quickly reversed with an apology. Good management practice.

Room Tip: pool view!

Taking into consideration that this hotel has only 3 stars - it's perfect. Taking into account the area - St.Tropez - the price is very attractive. Free parking and nice breakfast, peace and quite. All in all - highly recommended.

Room Tip: Deluxe room is a must.

The hotel is near to the coast and a beach, the city can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The hotel area is large and the swimming pool is huge. Our room was relatively small, but who wants to spend a lot of time in the room in this part of France? Our bed however was really (uncomfortably) small for two average size people... :(
Breakfast is good (buffet) but not really worth 14 EUR.
Overall, we had a good time and it was good value for money. Would stay there again.

Quite nice hotel set in a beautiful environment (palm trees and flowers). The swimming pool is nice and clean inviting for a moment of relaxation. The hotel is calm despite his 126 rooms and even if it was mid August and the hotel full booked, it was neither crowded nor noisy (pool, restaurant, bar...). The beach is at walking distance through the Botanical Garden. Morning breakfast is worth the price. The service in general is friendly but professionalism, especially at the restaurant could be improved... The design of the rooms could be modernised a little and last point that was negative, you have to not forget your beach towels. The hotel does not have a lending service for beach/pool towels.
Anyway, a nice place to rest for a long week end, even if the hotel is not cheap, but understandable given the proximity of St Tropez.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a balcony and they all have view on the swimming pool.

In February, 2013, we received email confirmation for our reservation for two adjoining rooms for three days in August for my wife and I, and for our daughter and our two grandsons aged 4 & 5. We would have reserved elsewhere had our rooms not been adjoining. When we arrived at the hotel our assigned rooms were not remotely close. The desk clerk said that they had no adjoining rooms for us. When we objected, they said that in February when they sent the confirmation they had adjoining rooms, but we couldn't expect them in August when the hotel is full. We could not penetrate this bizarre logic, and were continually told the manager was not available during our entire stay. No adjustment was made to our bill. Our daughter's larger room had a nice patio, but it was shared with the two adjoining rooms with no separation, so only one of the three room's occupants could use it at any one time. Our room had its own small patio. We had reserved a babysitter for one evening, but the desk clerk gave her the wrong time and she was nearly an hour late. But she was terrific. The people at the desk are pleasant but just don't seem to care about details or service. The hotel has a large and beautiful pool, but each morning by breakfast all of the many free lounges were already reserved (with towels or other belongings) for the day by guests, so seating was virtually impossible to find even though many lounges were unoccupied. Something could be done to fix that.

Our rooms were fine, though a bit small. The breakfasts were superb, with a great choice of hot and cold items. A nice public beach is a five minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant/cabana operation at the beach was very good, and the people running it could not be nicer. If you want to go into the center of Ste. Maxime for dinner, the St. Tropez ferry, etc it is a solid 20 minute walk and we could not find taxis to return at night. The traffic going to St. Tropez and the Ramatuelle beaches during the day was horrendous in August - don't even consider driving there.

With competent and caring management this could be a much better hotel. It's clean, well maintained, has ample parking and great pool and beach facilities. Too bad.

Very well situated in the middle of botanic garden, with a nice walk to the sea. The rooms are expensive but the service is pretty poor. WiFi is a myth, even if you pay extra for a faster transmission or rent a Mac in the lobby - works extremely poor everywhere. NO MINIBAR IN THE ROOM. Air conditionair works well. Rooms are cleaned on occasional basis during the day, sometimes in the morning, but once we had to wait outside till 3 pm to get it finished. The worst thing is the service in restaurant, friendly but extremely unprofessional - long and mixing everything. Poor fan in the bathroom, better take yours from home. The TV has only French and German channels. The seats at the swimming pool are occupied by towels, and the hotel management doesn't really care...
