A gorgeous small, boutique hotel.... we only stayed one night, but it felt like home. Tranquil setting a little out of the town.... hard to find ..we drove up and down about 5 times ( didnt go far enough out of town!)
Great pizzeria overlooking the bay worth a visit. Would definately stay again.

This is a 3 star hotel but let me tell you id rather be at this place than a 5 star anyway....why? Its charming relaxing a great location to anywhere you wish.

The rooms are almost like an apartment without the kitchen, they all come with a mini fridge/bar air con. Safe and the good news is they all have a lovely small patio or garden, so take your wine/water and snacks and relax anytime you wish with out feeling claustrophobic.....

The hotel staff is all very friendly yet business like, the breakfast is a continental style or pay extra for eggs/ham/cheese if you wish also comes with fruit juice coffee or tea...

The management chooses not to cook???? So no lunch or dinners are served....what a shame, still there loss.

The pool is a good size and even when full to capacity the atmosphere always seemed tranquil, perhaps it is because the clientele are sensible descent people.

the room rates double if you go for a room with a pool view, this will of course depend if you take the children, but if you are a couple ask for the room that faces the mountain side....half the price. perfect.......you may get a visit from the resident dog tom...getting on a bit but never barks and will welcome crisps nuts ham cheese biscuits...toms has a lovely character he always came to the door in the morning walked us to the car........but he cannot poor a drink to save his life...

You will go to saint Tropez but try not to drive there as the roads sometimes are so bad. Can take you hours what really should be a 25 min drive...

Go to Port Gremaud it’s like a cross between Venice and Disneyland many rest/bars take the camera with lots of space.

Then drive to a village nearby also gremaud...The most amazing and prettiest village i have ever come across. Dates back near 1000 years. Rest/bars great basic in looks great food and wine.....properties here are extremely expensive. Let’s hope it’s not overly spoiled in years to come.

Then later go cane, nice Entebbe and Juan le pan. In cane have lunch at the Carlton and follow in carry grants footsteps.

Anyway when staying at the jags naïf the drive into Sainte maxim and the port is about 5 minutes... You will be very spoiled for choice and don’t forget to take the taxi boats when you can it will save you many hours of lost time, more expensive but so what...by the way i found the rest/bars were cheaper in saint Tropez than St Maxims...

driving time from nice airport about 1 hour 30 minutes...be careful the drivers can be quite reckless your doing 80-100 they will come up behind you in seconds doing 150...be careful you’ll still get there...

Enjoy yourself.....

This is a fab hotel. Clean, big rooms with a lovely terrace - feels like having a villa rather than a hotel. Very quiet, and friendly owners. Lovely pool. Only problem is that this hotel is 2km out of town (up a steep hill). We couldn't get a taxi from Ste Maxime (they won't go short distances) and had to walk up the hill in the midday sun dragging cases. Not fun. The owners husband runs a shuttle service(5 euros into town) and if we'd rang the hotel they would have picked us up. We used this loads into town and either arranged a pick up time or rang when we wanted to come home. Don't let this put you off this hotel. While you're in Sainte Maxime definitely go to Port Grimaud and Saint Tropez. Take the shuttle boat from town. Another thing to bear in mind is the bus service into St Raphael (we needed to go through here to get to and from Nice). The buses seem to turn up as an when they feel like it so be prepared for a long wait.
