Charming, historical, some very interesting art and antique galleries. Some nice places to eat and easy to walk around.

All artisan shops with over priced goods. Most shops we spoke with were not locals. Walking through the town in the evening after the shops closed was quite nice and peaceful and you got the sense of the medieval town that was once there

St Paul de Vence is a delightful town set high on a hill . The town has stunning views over hills and greenery and down to the sea. The streets are narrow and the pace of life is slow so the walk around the town is very enjoyable . There are many art shops and a variety of other shops and restaurants. It is not touristy and retains an unspoilt quality. It is worth setting a morning aside to wander and stop for lunch or an afternoon and dinner.

20 years ago this was a gem with small local shops and local people. Now it is crowded with tourists arriving in big busses and art galleries and souvenir shops on every corner. The view is still amazing and the town itself is worth visiting.
