This village, nestled in the hills above the Mediterranean, was very pretty, with modern sculptures interspersed among old granite homes and buildings. Between the buildings you could catch glimpses of the beautiful countryside below. We were there in November. Weather was warm and there were not very many tourists.

Charming, historical, some very interesting art and antique galleries. Some nice places to eat and easy to walk around.

All artisan shops with over priced goods. Most shops we spoke with were not locals. Walking through the town in the evening after the shops closed was quite nice and peaceful and you got the sense of the medieval town that was once there

St Paul de Vence is a delightful town set high on a hill . The town has stunning views over hills and greenery and down to the sea. The streets are narrow and the pace of life is slow so the walk around the town is very enjoyable . There are many art shops and a variety of other shops and restaurants. It is not touristy and retains an unspoilt quality. It is worth setting a morning aside to wander and stop for lunch or an afternoon and dinner.
