Wish we had had longer but this was just a hop on our European trip.
Superb buildings, lovely location. It must be amazing to relax in the gardens and pool in the summer.
In Spring we had a very good deal.
The walk into the village on the roadside is the only downside.
We have just spent five enjoyable nights at Le Hameau, a delightful and charming place surrounded by a variety of citrus trees. To be really excellent they need to bring the hotel a little more up to date, as it gives the impression that it has not changed for many years; it is certainly not cheap and breakfast is an extra 15 Euros plus VAT, all their prices seem to be quoted excluding VAT. A few things, like an extract fan in the bathroom so that the mirror does steam up when you have a bath and more towel rails as the pile of towels is just dumped on the side of the bath, would be welcome.improvements.
anybody looking to stay in cote d'azure whethere it is nice, monaco, canne espically for couples with kids and people looking for relaxation. this is the place too be. you really want to stay there forever.
Charming small hotel decorated in Provencal style, a ten minute walk from the village of St Paul de Vence and Fondation Maeght. Delightful managers, Xavier and Lucia, could not be more helpful. Sunny weather in February and few visitors made it a delightful trip. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are excellent restaurants in St Paul de Vence, especially the Colombe d'Or.
Definitely a place to visit again.
Our son, who had been to the area before, made the reservation for us as my birthday present. He picked a winner! The place was like fairy tale charming. We had a cute room which opened to a terrace. The grounds are very pretty and well taken care of. There's a pool and lots of relaxing outdoor spots.The views are great. I wished that I could have spent more time here rather go of to the Maeght museum or stroll around the walled town. By the way, the hotel is within walking distance of both these attractions, so no need to get into you car and try to find a parking spot. The manager, Xavier, and his wife were very helpful and friendly. We had an optional breakfast, which was excellent.
The hotel was recommended by a few friends who visited Nice years ago. After looking at the pictures on their website I decided that it would be a great location to spend our last night before coming back home. Good decision! Everything there is perfect, manicured and designed to make sure that you have the most wonderful stay. Located at only 10 min walk from St-Paul, where you will find a nice variety of restaurants and terrace to spend a perfect evening.
