The grounds of this hotel were beautiful with an infinity pool overlooking the mediterrean. The room was modern with a cosy terrace also with a sea view. Breakfast was wonderful with many great choices. The bathroom as very modern with glass blocks separating it from the bedroom. At night if one of us went to the bathroom, we woke up the other one because the light went straight through-pretty but not practical. I put my makeup in a cabinate under the sink. A few hours later, My makeup was soaked and we reported it to the front desk. They said they would take care of it in the morning which was OK with us. After breakfast the next day, we went to check up on the repair. Saskia told us she didn't know anything about it. My husband suggested she look at the post it that was next to her computer in clear view. She reluctantly said she wuld take care of it. I started to tell her a few other things that were not up to par, especially in a hotel that is supposed to be 4 Stars. She cut me off and said "Write me a list". Closet door mirror diagonally cracked from top to bottom and could have been a safety issue.
Little table on terrace broken and I put a container of moisturiser on it and it quickly rolled off and broke onto the patio of the room downstairs. Good thing there was no one there at the time.
Air conditioner was leaking on terrace so there were weeds and mud on this tiny terrace.
Tile was missing on the terrace.
Bath towel rack coming off the wall.
They didn't paint around the closet well so it was a dirty grey in sharp conrast to the stark white of the room.
I have to say all the other staff we met were really very nice so perhaps she was the only bad apple.More
