Description: Since 1996, Villa Romana is one of the places were you can enjoy a real Tropezian evening. In her unique garden, with an italian decoration out of time, you can discover a unique mix between mediterrannean food, champagne and Dolce Vita right in the middle of town.

Tempus fugit
What was this place years ago and what it had become. The temple of fun and party now just a ruin with nobody inside, waiters begging for tips and for you to buy a bottle of wine.
I took a picture with half of the restaurant completely empty on the most crazy weekend, the end of July and beginning of august. So in the end it’s just a pizza place with the price of a caviar box?! Because nobody order anything anymore than pizza and water.
If this is because of the opening of the Opera (see mine and all other disaster reviews), then I understand why St Tropez is gone and everybody moved to Ibiza and Myconos. And so am I!

the place is a circus, but realy fun. from the entrance, the staff is all dressed up, you have several dancing numbers, they give out hats and toys. It id fun to go there at least once.
the food is ok, but i wouldn´t go back for the food

We are group of friends, all in our twenties, who are used to spend summers in St-Tropez. We went to have dinner at Villa Romana last week. Despite we booked a table in advance, the staff has made us move table 3 times. We ordered some cocktails before food but no vine for the meal. Then the manager came to our table saying: "tonight is not going to be possible for you guys, be nice and leave immediately, I can't leave you the table if you order water only during the meal". Although we were outraged by this conduct, it was late and we were hungry so we agreed to order a 200 euro bottle of champagne in order to stay. After that, we waited for an hour to get the four pizzas we ordered, which were so overcooked that we could hardly cut them. This kind of forced alcool consumption is irresponsible, unacceptable and probably unlawful.
In summary bad service, unfriendly, bad food and totally overpriced...

I spent a night at Villa Romana with my wife, we were alone but had a lot of fun, loud music played by a DJ, cute dancers dancing (sometimes naked or in sexy outfit) around the tables, beware of menu prices, especially the wine !!! Ask prices before, we were offered a glass of Dom Perignon but luckily also given its price which was Euro 35 a glass or half the proce for a regular Brut, this as aperitif, but beware of wine list prices if you order a bottle, food is average I wouldn't say bad as most reviewers wrote but at same time not top, this place is for fun and to my opinion is a must go at least once if you go to St. tropez, I mean take it easy and just enjoy it with particular attention on food and wine prices when you place your order to avoid any bad surprise when you get the bill.

this was a planned night out for my friends 40th, we were a group of 5 sat on a round table that was actually placed up for 6 people, but we struggled to all sit so cant imagine how 6 people would sit on it.
we started off at the bar were we had bellini's these were appaling and had very little taste of champagne and were warm.
the food was not tasty at all and i had to season my food highly as it had so little flavour. All five of us came away thinking well it wasnt really worth it.
The atmosphere and decoration was great but when payign high prices i expect quality food. will not return or reccommend
