The villa is initially very well presented, in fact quit charming, in a rustic way. But for us the outdoor space was very stunning, well kept and presented, a nice salt water pool.

However my warning is a very big factor.

Not sure if anyone has noticed the fact that the villa is advertised twice, showing a €1000 difference in price for a week stay, this apparent difference is with or without Air Con....... I'd like to say that we paid the full €3500 for a week to have Air Con, only to find on arrival 1 small PORTABLE unit...... Not worth fudge!!!
But never the less, we stayed in the villa, somewhat hotter than we wanted.
But my warning is when you leave the villa.......if you have paid a cash deposit, which we did of a €1000, expect not to see it again, the owner Mr Hofmann, WILL claim all kind of damage and dirt.
You will be billed for scratches to doors, started as one door, soon grew to 4 doors.
Excessive cleaning needed so a further bill, although I myself cleaned through the villa the night before we left, you will be billed extra for deep cleaning of a pool, oh and not to mention some moody old mattresses outside, you WILL be billed for those too.
Pillow cases will of course be in a state of utter disgrace, so you WILL be billed for new ones, I might add, costing €40 for 2, I can assure you, your head does not sleep of plush really silk pillow cases, normally supermarket cotton ones, so the €40 is to increase the bill.
So all in all, conveniently your bill like ours will add up to just shy of the deposit, ours obviously being a €1000.

Oh and you will notice it's advertised as pet friendly, yet all you'll get is claims of damage caused by your dogs. Some dogs do cause damage, other don't, either way it won't matter, you'll get bills for damage.
I've found him to be totally dishonest and untrustworthy.
Oh and be advised, if like us you need a last minute booking, Mr Hoffmann only like payment through bank transfer, NOT through trip advisor. We did it his way only because we'd been let down with a booking, very much the night before, and we're left with little choice.
I don't want anyone else to have to be fiddled out of good earned money to line the pocket of a greedy con man.

So please take my warning seriously if you wish to stay in this villa. It is beautiful, but you'll be let down at the end, with the stress of Mr Hoffmann claims.
