“Charming with fabulous views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

The hotel is within a very short walk of the beautiful and historic Vence. It has a lovely terrace with spectacular views, including the Med, and an outside pool.

Our room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and balcony. Breakfast on the terrace was self service but with plenty of choice: cheese, meat, pastries, eggs, bread, jam, coffee, tea and juices plus fresh pineapple and fresh fruit salad.

The owners are very friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and the corner aspect, with views to both sea and m...

we booked online. The property was tired and rooms reflected it as well. Somewhat hard to find and further from town center than we would have liked. Breakfast not included but available for 10 Euros. Breakfast overpriced! Rooms were clean and good view.

There is a glorious view from the hotel’s very nice, large, shaded terrace/garden and there’s a pool which makes the location - about a five minute walk from the old town- worth the walk (which is boring but safe, and only five minute). The building itself is also charming. It’s a former villa made into a small hotel (18 rooms or so), a tad run down but quite clean and the room was plenty big, bathroom very nice, free Wi-Fi (worked most of the time). No AC so the room was a bit stuffy sometimes late afternoon, but even though the days were quite warm when I was there it always cooled off at night and I probably wouldn’t have used AC even if it had been there. At 12€ I did not take the breakfast so can’t comment on that. There are about 8 free spaces for parking (reserved for the hotel) and quite a few more if you don’t get one of the free ones but you have to pay. 88€/single

This hotel is a three star hotel and when reviewing I need to remember to limit my expectations. The hotel was not supported by any staff and the hallways can be dark and difficult to walk thru when going to your room at night. The room we got with the balcony could have been really nice if they changed the rug and anything else that smelled musty. There was a mattress in the hallway. So basically if you don't stay in better hotels this might be ok for you. It definitely wasn't for us

Im a few surprise by this review because I asked these guests when they leave and they was very happy...
They took by expedia room with discount price so it will be a room without view and large bed and when they arrive they want to have a larger room with balcony and panoramic view and two beds. I arrange this at the first floor with cheaper price 20 Euros more per night at the place 70 Euros.
They said every thing smelled musty, We change all each days, and make mùany attention at this , only during the stay there is big storm and so it will be wet outside so little inside...
When the arrived in the night always they miss to push the light to have it in the stairs so prehaps its the reason they said is dark, and in the hall its a baby bed in a corner no a mastress.

Great view, cute rooms. Everything was adequate. Perfect location for local romps and walks to anywhere in Vence. The owner, Daniel is very knowledgeable about food & wine and will be glad to make a reservation for you. Over all great experience.

We had a lovely stay with our six months old daughter. Enjoyed every day on a cosy hotel with a beautiful view, a faboulous garden and perfectly close to Vence centre. If you want a private and comfortable stay, this is the place to be. The other guests became some sort of a family for us and especially our daughter. So close to Nice, Entibes, Cannes and small villages like Tourettes and St. Paul! We will be back!!

Our welcome was sullen, unwelcoming and unfriendly..per haps a smile would have made our opinion better. The hotel has a spectacular view, and the rooms, tho' small are attractive. The breakfast at 12 euro is exorbitant. This is best described as a B and B.
