Highly recommend hiring bikes to get to the start which we did not and it's about a 25 minute walk along a gravel track by the river. Beautiful but hard going for a couple of reasonably fit grandparents and tired children after their activities! The entry is just off the roundabout to the village and parking is available here. Ids are required for children. Take drinks and snacks for recovery as only plain water out of a plastic container available. There is a very rustic wc there! Great fun for the kids 8 years and upwards and a lot of adults also taking part. This is serious outward bound stuff so you need to be reasonable fit strong and supple. We just watched although I don't think there is an upper age limit!! You can only go around the chosen course once which I don't think is mentioned, but it is probably enough as after that they are pretty tired. Supervision and training to do the courses is very good with lots of staff on hand and they provide all the equipment needed. You have to reserve in advance as a only limited number are allowed on the courses at any one time. A nice cool forest to be in on a hot summers day. Enjoy!
