“Very good but long walk to begin with”

Highly recommend hiring bikes to get to the start which we did not and it's about a 25 minute walk along a gravel track by the river. Beautiful but hard going for a couple of reasonably fit grandparents and tired children after their activities! The entry is just off the roundabout to the village and parking is available here. Ids are required for children. Take drinks and snacks for recovery as only plain water out of a plastic container available. There is a very rustic wc there! Great fun for the kids 8 years and upwards and a lot of adults also taking part. This is serious outward bound stuff so you need to be reasonable fit strong and supple. We just watched although I don't think there is an upper age limit!! You can only go around the chosen course once which I don't think is mentioned, but it is probably enough as after that they are pretty tired. Supervision and training to do the courses is very good with lots of staff on hand and they provide all the equipment needed. You have to reserve in advance as a only limited number are allowed on the courses at any one time. A nice cool forest to be in on a hot summers day. Enjoy!

Hidden away in a lush canyon, you could be miles from anywhere, rather than a few minutes from the hustle of the beach. The setting makes for a far more interesting and challenging adventure than anything I've seen in the UK or the US. Staff are well-trained and helpful. Four different levels of course. Green easiest, Black hardest. Most fit people should stick to the middle two. Go green with younger kids, black if you're a trained rock climber or ultra-fit. They all start from the same place, a 10 minute bike ride down a flat trail from the registration desk and car park. Very cool, very scenic and good fun.

A brilliantly organised course.
One hell of a lot of work must have gone into all of this! It is stunning, very well set-out, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The courses and views are amazing.
Unfortunately the black run was shut due to the wind... guess I will have to come back!
(I did the purple and the red).
Suitable for all ages and groups.
A lovely village is within walking distance if you did not pack a picnic.
Sports gear / trainers or walking boots recommended.

If you fancy an alternative day out I would strongly recommend you try this.
My 15 year old son and I spent 3 very enjoyable hours there. We did the purple route which is the second hardest as the black one was closed as the winds were too high for the zip lines.
It's a combination of rock climbing and zip lines that is quite exerting but brilliant fun.
If you want to challenge yourself bearing in mind you chose how difficult you want it to be, then spend a half day here.
Thanks to all for a fab day.
