“Best short rib of my life!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Fantastic service and one of the best meals in France. The short rib with lavender honey sauce was divine. Wonderful wine selection. Wonderful cuisine without breaking the bank. Recommended to us by our B&B Le Mas des Etoiles.

“Go for the balcony”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

Dined here in the evening. Access is down a cobbled alley and you can dine out on the balcony if there is space but you need to reserve ahead. We were directed upstairs to sit in a pleasant There was an interesting selection on the menu and the portions were huge. Desert was very good.

Lacked atmosphere inside. Prefer a more personal service.

“We Walked Out”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

We turned up to this resteraunt based on good reviews. We found the atmosphere in the Resteraunt very awkward and on top of this we waited 25 minutes and counted 11 trips by staff around our table and still no menus, drinks, bread or even a welcoming smile! So we left and spent our hard earned pennies elsewhere. Lots of lovely places in Gordes without being ignored in a tourist trap.

“Lovely place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

We have a small house in Gordes so always keen to check out any new places that open in the village. This is without doubt the best there is to offer in Gordes. Amazing views, lovely staff, simple but effective cuisine and seasonal as you would expect. Dinner for 8 people with 3 bottles of wine and apperitives came to £375 inc. tax excluding service. If you are a couple, book in advance and get your own private balcony. Stunning.
I would recommend for red wine the Chateauneuf-du-papes La Bastide saint dominique.

“Must go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

During a day trip to Gordes we found this restaurant almost by accodent, but were very lucky we did.
We were lucky enough to get the table on a small/private second story balcony...which even if tjey were serving cold tuna from a can with stale bread it would have been fantastic. The view I would vager is probably one if the best anywhere. Over looking the clifs and all the surrounding farms.

The food as you would expect ces beautifully decorated and is very thought out. The menu is classic french and portions are not too small and mot Erican either. It was perfect.

We asked our very polite waiter whom I think was the owner by how much passion he put into his service to recommend a dessert and he did not dissappoint. He brough us one of the most refreshing amd delicious deserts I have had anywhere in France.

The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend going!!!!
