This very central hotel offers newly decorated, spacious rooms very close to the old harbour of Marseille. The rooms have free Wifi, safe and AC and the bathroom has a very nice rainfall shower. The breakfast as well the lunch was excellent with a high variety of fresh food. The hotel has a modern conference area with different room sizes available.
The staff was always friendly and supportive with a high level of spoken English (as this is not a given in French hotels).
Just right beside the hotel entrance is an entry to big shopping mall inclusive Galeries Lafayette and Fnac.

The hotel is of high quality with an excellent situation about 5 minutes to walk from the old Harbour. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a large choice. The hotel was very busy but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I would like to thank specially Mr. Franck Balthazard the room division manager who treated my special request in a very Professional manner.

The hotel is very close to the city centre - it adjoins the sizeable new shopping centre which has exits to La Canabiere and the Vieux Port so it couldn't be much better. (It's about 10 minutes walk in the other direction to the railway station.) We returned late both nights - from Rue Paradis and Le Panier districts - and felt completely safe at all times.
We were on the 11th floor and had a great view directly towards Notre Dame de la Garde and with the Vieux Port to the right. There was plenty of space in a good quality room (standard double), and the breakfast was excellent. There were abundant choices for everything, supplemented by a chef who quickly cooked your omelettes, etc. to order.
The staff at reception were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful - happy to give advice on places to see and things to do. We felt that the lady serving the bar late at night was the only person who had a bad attitude to her job, but it didn't spoil our overall experience.

Room Tip: The higher floors have great views to Notre Dame

It's very well located downtown, close to the old port. The streets around don't look very well specially at night, take care. The hotel is renovated, rooms are ok and the breakfast is quite good. Acceptable.

For a 4 start hotel I found the rooms to be sub standard. The shower was very small and a large person would not have fitted in.
I did like that it was a short walk to the harbour and the staff was friendly.

Located in walking distance of port and shops, but in an area that becomes unsavoury after 6pm. Shower (1/2 open) flooded bathroom floor. Hotel under renovation, ceiling tiles in reception loose/missing. Bar unfriendly, fluorescent green/white, BRIGHTLY lit, plastic chairs. TV in adjacent room (dining overflow) with 8 comfortable chairs and the rest hard cafe chairs + tables/high stools. Not for relaxing. Bar was closed before scheduled. We attended an event with more than 200 delegates.. Room servicing friendly but sloppy (shortage of towels or cups.) Beds rock hard - we did not sleep well at all. 1 chair, 1 small bench/foot stool, 1 bedside table next to 1 bed, for 2 guests. To buy water etc. we had to queue at busy reception.
