Location
- close to old harbour
- parking lots available
Room
- Superior room is big and comfortable
- king size bed is very comfortabel
- air conditioning properly working
- two bathrooms (one with toilette, one with shower etc.)
Cleanliness
- Hotel, room and bathroom were absolutely clean
Service
- free internet, but you have to connect to OrangeWifi which interrupts like every 20 minutes and whenever your screen turns off, you have to reconnect. This is quite annoying for a business hotel
- big and good breakfast buffet
- bar at hotel
Staff
- friendly staff

The Hotel is at the Center of Marseilla, in a walking distance of the Port and Notre Dame. The rooms are European, small but confty, recently renovated everything looks new.

Next to the Hotel is a big shopping mall.

Parking is free, but a little confusing the first time you use it.

I recomend this Hotel, no brainer!!

thanks

Room Tip: The View is amazing in the rooms, get a high floor.

Excellent 4 star hotel. Both the food and the service were excellent. Also closely located to the old port. Staff extremely helpful and also able to speak English - which is a blessing in a city where few people speak English. The hotel is modern and with many amenities.

We eventually found the Mercure, but the directions were very poor. Dropped the bags and went to park the car in the protected part of the Parking Bourse, a convoluted trip inside the underground parking. (Note -- when we emerged from the parking area, the elevator dropped us in a shopping mall right next to the hotel. Being hungry, we bought two smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches on a triangular-shaped roll with poppy seeds on its top. Delicious! When we left the next day, we left our bags at the desk and picked up two more sandwiches on our way to retrieve the car and then our bags.)

The hotel was fine. We had requested a room with a view and were given one on the 10th floor with a beautiful view over the city. The room was well-appointed and we had no problems at all.

A great weekend stayed there during the music fest on mid June. It's centrally located, within 10 minutes walk to Vieux Port and around 15 minutes walk to St. Charles TGV. Room size is good for 2 persons, bathroom is tidy and the rainforest shower is a surprise for me. BBC is the only English TV channel but fair enough. Buffet breakfast offered various choice of food. Staff are professional and could speak fluent English. We enjoyed a great weekend in the hotel as well as the city of Marseille!

It was difficult to find the hotel by car initially because it is in a small street in a very busy area. Then the carpark entrance is in another street, so research it carefully beforehand.
Having done that, it is in a great location beside a big shopping centre and very close to the old port and restaurants. The staff could speak excellent English. For some reason the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but they still hastily provided tables and meals around the bar area. This made it all very casual and friendly and the food was very nice. Breakfast selection was wonderful.
