We loved the location - easy access to buses, city, train station and beach. Room No. 419 was perfect with the sun on the balcony all day and glorious views. Well contained and found that I, personally, needed for nothing. (Hairdryer, soap, plenty of towels, washing up liquid, scourer, dishwasher tablets all provided) Access to the internet was free to hotel guests. Staff were fabulous.

When you arrive at the airport, go straight to the other end and take the shuttle bus to St Charles train Station. Take the Metro two stops to Vieux Port. Upon exit, cross the road and take the number 83 bus to Parc Borley (30 mins approx). As the bus turns left at the statue of David prepare to get off. Parc Valbelle is on the left and if it is open, take the shortcut through it and the hotel is right in front of you. If the parc is closed walk past it and Rue Des Mousses is on the left. Large supermarket at statue of David.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony looking onto Parc Valbelle where the sun shines all day (depending on weather). Whilst there were only two of us travelling, I reserved a room for 4 persons which gave us more space with the bedroom upstairs.

When I arrived I was disappointed with the standard and condition of the hotel, the paint is peeling off everywhere, and falls on you whilst sitting by the pool! The pool itself was very pleasant, clean, but small.
The room itself was in desperate need of a makeover! The sofa bed..which is all that is provided in the rooms was incredibly uncomfortable, and I did not manage on good nights sleep.
Having said all of the above, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent for transport links to the many tourist attractions in the area, and it is very cheap to take the metro or buses, but beware if you go out for the evening....all the transport stops at around 9pm for buses and 11pm for metro.
There is a very handy supermarket just a 5 minute walk away, and the beach is also a 5 minute walk, although not sandy, it is clean.
All in all, there were good and bad points, I do think the hotel is over priced for its condition, but it is in a good location.

Checked in at Adagio Prado plage for 4 nights and were greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist.
We found the hotel rather easily using a sat nav. The location is convenient and there are regular buses to the tube station and to the centre of Marseille - via the seaside, when you do not want to walk in the roasting sun!
The rooms were of a decent size: kitchenette, mezzanine with 2 single beds and a convertible sofa. The balcony was nice too as we were on the last floor and had a sea and park view. However, the furniture was dated and the curtains full of holes...
When we arrived the room had not been cleaned properly and we were struggling to turn off the air-con, so we rang the receptionist, who came up straight away to help us out. He was always available and helpful when we needed anything.
The pool and reception areas were kept clean and it is a pity the rooms were not as well kept... As one of the reviewers wrote previously, the staff was fantastic but the hotel would need a little refurbishment...

Room Tip: Last floor with park and sea view

Been staying here for 3 to 4 weeks a year for 12 years. Great staff,,,, very friendly and helpful. Good location. Good value. Clean. Can be a little noisy on the weekends. The only negative... they need to upgrade their air conditioning.

Cheap. Small rooms, with towels and sheets having far too much polyester to be comfortable.

Rooms all needed a re-furb as it seemed a little tired, and grubby. Single beds are small, and the main "room" was a sofa bed.

A 2 minute walk to the beach, and lots of restaurants nearby. And pharmacies. No grocery shops though to buy fruit water within walking distance.
