This park is big and beautiful but needs a good scrub! The grounds were littered with cigarette butts, food wrappers, tall weeds growing through the cracks in the street and homeless people sleeping on benches.
However, looking past the garbage, the park was very peaceful and quite. Located opposite the Prado Beach it was a nice place to seek refuge from the sun and wind. There were fountains and a large pond inhabited by ducks and swans that wound around the park with places to rent rowboats, bikes and buggies to ride around the park. There were a lot of people laying under the big trees, enjoying their summer picnics and fresh air, I just wish it was cleaner!
