“Classic Boulliabaisse place”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Around the Veiux porte there are a ton of places to eat seafood, the Miramar was recommended to me and didn't disappoint. The bouillabaisse is enormous and delicious, the waiter recommended a local wine and it was a little spendy but worth all the small touches. When they seat you outside they offer sun hats and the table and linens are pristine. view of the port and the morning market make it a perfect treat to eat here.

“Tourist trap”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

Hugely overpriced tourist trap. You can get equivalent quality of seafood in the streets just off the vieux port for half the price. Upon being seated I was offered a dessert menu to prebook it on the pretence they took a long time to make! In reality they just want you to commit to spending the money - shameful. Wine is hugely overpriced too €58 for what is about €30 elsewhere.

“Nice but expensive”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

It is surely a nice restaurant. Very busy and hard to get reservation. Although I reserved a table through their website a month before my trip, I had to wait for about 30 minutes to get my table. The food is very nice. But it is also very expensive. You keep in mind that you will spend three hours here for your dinner! They serve food very slowly. It was enjoyable at the end.

“bit overpriced”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

being a top rated restaurant, the price is definitely on a high end. location is great, right in the heart of vieux port, with a view of the ferris wheel. but the setting is old fashioned and stuffy. unlike many reviewers, i had quite a pleasant experience with the food: nice amuse-bouche/ gazpacho, great bouillabaisse, lots of bread, fresh (albeit pricey) oysters. i tried two of the fish dish menu and both came out nice.

“Lovely Food”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

Had an outside table on a super sunny saturday lunch time. Let me say the sole purpose of dining here was to have bouillabaisse in the city that invented the dish. We chose the Miramar which has the reputation of cooking the dish as it should be.
The portion size was massive and lovely, no compliants concerning the food or service both of which were great
I would say however 6 oysters 2 bouillabaisse and a bottle of one of the cheaper on the list cost just over 200 euro, not cheap but very busy !
