“Nice Start to the City”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 December 2013

The Pavillon M may not be a permanent fixture in the city, as it was erected for the 2013 Cultural Capital of Europe, but if it's still there it is worth a visit. One reason being the very friendly travel/tourist desk on the second floor; they are much nicer then the one in town and very helpful. The exhibition will appeal to bikers-lots of old ones and there are many interactive displays. Lots of English spoken for a change. Nice small gift shop. Worth 1/2 hour of your time.

Free entrance, good service, nice impression about the cultural sights . But be aware it is very promotional.

“Go there early in your visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2013

This is an exhibition with great use of technology. Much to see and learn about the development of and life in Marseille. It is a temporary exhibit in a large wooden structure one block back from the Vieux Port in front of the Intercontinental Hotel.

“Great exhibit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2013

We went to the opening of the show about the ocean and artwork. The artwork was fabulous. As for the facility I would suspect they would always have exhibits that are engaging,

The location is right at the port and is a nice place to sit outside and visit,
