Very helpfull staff when you arrive in the hotel. The park the car in the parking only a few meters away. Parkprice is very reasonable. They explain how to discover Marseille, you receive a mak where they mark the items to see. Big rooms with perfect beds. Good breakfast.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night when passing through. Initially it is difficult to find the entry when driving but once we got there all was ok.
The staff were very helpful in getting our bags and parking our car. It is in a good location right near the water.
I don't normally eat at hotel restaurants but we were very tired and decided to eat there. I'm so glad we did as I had one of the best meals there! I had the Kobe steak and it was devine. There is also a large selection of wines.
I would stay here again.

Dear Kobi,

We are glad you appreciated your stay with us and you are right, the Kobe beef is a real delicacy! We hope to host you again in one of our hotels in France or Belgium.

Best regards,

Very trendy, designer, chic hotel - beds were very comfortable and the room very well appointed. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom, handmade famous products, from the local area - and there was a Nespresso machine in the room. Location is outside main port area of Marseilles, opposite a stunning building (Le Pharo) but a 10 min. stroll into town - or you could use one of the cityvelo (bikes for hire) just outside the hotel to get around. Also, very well served by local buses, which also brought us directly to the railway station.
I particularly liked the pool, which while cold, was a welcome relief from warm temperatures.
We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but chose to stroll down to the port and into a boulangerie for warm, freshly baked croissant...Marseilles is a great location and there is lots to do in the area, it being a port, it is especially good for boat trips to Chateau D'If etc. Great town.

We were two nights at this hotel with the family, while visiting Marseille which was a very nice (and also to our experience safe) city to visit. The hotel is what I would call a "design" hotel.. nice artistic displays and artifacts all around.. the hotel itself was enjoyable, with a nice but a bit crowded swimming pool. Wifi connection was quite poor, but this is alas not unusual everywhere.

It's close to the vieux port but you can also stroll out to the sea to the place des catalans.. where you will be surprised to see a nice beach!

We've just got back from a 5 day stay and hotel was good. Helpful staff ( not much English spoken so glad my travel companion spoke some French). Extensive quality wine list. Fun, arty and clean. Good choice at breakfast - lovely croissants freshly baked. Hotel placed away from busy port but 10 minute walks takes you into the main area. Tarik on concierge is excellent as is Nicholas. Rooms clean and good quality. Overall a nice stay. Restaurant food high quality and various fixed price menus offered.

The location is in easy walking distance to most popular attractions in Marseille, and very close to the bars and restaurants of the old port. The staff were friendly, but the Concierge was exceptional. He couldn't do enough for us, especially to help us find the type of private boat tour we were looking for.
The hotel is modern, but lacks the character of many of the older hotels in the city. It is trying a bit to hard to be a funky, trendy, boutique hotel, when actually the layout and small room size is far from boutique. Black lights and foam cut outs in the hallways are tacky. The celebrity themed art work throughout the hotel is a bit too Vegas. However the pool and common areas were open and inviting.
Cleanliness is not high on the priority list here. The room had a very stale odor, common to a lot of European hotels, where some guests still don't get what no smoking means.(From the pool you could see numerous guest with their heads out of the window, having a smoke, with all the smoke wafting back into the hotel!). There was stains on the ceiling and carpets and black mold throughout the bathroom.
Compared to other hotels in the area, its is very good value, and if you don't plan to spend too much time in your room, you will enjoy the location immensely.

We stayed at New Hotel of Marseille on our weekend trip to Marseille. The hotel was trendy with cool art hanging in the lobby and lounge areas, the staff was friendly, helpful and overall very pleasant. The pool was a bit small but there was always room to lie down. And the water was a perfect temperature for the hot days. The bar was cheap and the bartenders friendly and able.

The rooms were spacious and despite a bit of a hard bed and a somewhat noisy air conditioning unit we sincerely enjoyed our stay. I would warmly recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marseille.
