This restaurant is tucked away in Rue d'Italie and has been open for a few months. It's quite a small restaurant with 12 tables so you really need to reserve a table!
I first heard about this restaurant from a chinese friend who said it was just like home for him so I thought this has to be tested! I went with a couple of friends, one of whom had lived in China for 3 years, and I was not disappointed! We had 2 platters of fried and boiled dumpings with an assortiment of flavours such as pork and coriander, beef and prawn. They even had the traditional dipping sauce (soy plus vinegar and szchuan pepper)!! Then we shared a couple of main dishes. The pork and szchuan pepper dish was wonderfully tasty and spicy, something quite rare in France (they tend to mellow the spices for the French).
The restaurant also provides take away so if you aren't lucky enough to get a table you can still enjoy the food. My friend who lived in China literally goes to this restaurant 3 times a week!! It's that good!! So if you are looking for a restaurant away from the tourist traps and are looking for something a little different to the usual, try here!
