“Perfect location on Vieux Port”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We stayed at this hotel for one week on a 'room-only' basis and found it to be an excellent, modern hotel in a very good position on Vieux Port.

Our standard room on the second floor, overlooking an internal courtyard, was nicely furnished, comfortable, spacious and exceptionally quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were very good too.

The bathroom was clean and spacious with adequate toiletries supplied (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, bath/shower gel, moisturiser) and replenished on a daily basis. There was a shower over the bath.

There were numerous accessible power sockets, excellent air-conditioning, a hairdryer, flat-screen TV and mini-bar. Tea and coffee making facilities were also available in the room.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but no real complaints or problems.

The double wardrobe had plenty of hanging space, shelving and one drawer which was located below the safe.

It was very apparent that housekeeping standards throughout the hotel were very high.

The reception team and concierge were efficient, helpful, friendly and approachable.

The pool area was an added bonus and very popular. The pool was very clean. Unfortunately, the level of service by the bar staff in this area was very poor, and they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving guests!

Nevertheless, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for business or leisure.

Spent two nights with my family. The room was lovely and large, with a comfortable king-size bed and room for a surprisingly comfortable rollaway bed for our daughter. The staff was friendly and attentive. The outdoor pool was nice (but a tad chilly), with a spectacular view of Fort Saint-Nicolas. However, the drink prices at the pool restaurant/bar are quite expensive.

Hotel location and facilities are excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. The food and drink is far too expensive and not good value fro money especially breakfast at 25 euros. However, there are many local restaurants close by offering excellent food at much more reasonable prices.

We stayed for a week and found the Hotel very comfortable and well situated. The room was large with all facilities although the wifi signal was poor (to be fair I didn't report it until the last day) . The pool although small is very welcome but once a month in the Summer they have a Pool Party which rules out its use for a day which is disappointing . Some staff were excellent others efficient but not friendly . Bar service had to be asked for and even then on one occasion nobody turned up . Very near great Restaurants and Bars so mainly went out. However, all in all a good hotel in a wonderful city.

Typical Radisson Hotel. Good central location, literally on the port. Easy to find and parking located 5 minutes up the hill behind the hotel for 15 Euros a day. Bed very comfortable - request a large bed - super king. Linen excellent and pillows v soft. Room rather tired though and carpet grubby. Bathroom good size and shower worked well. Breakfast service efficient and good choice. Try to get a B and B deal as 25 euros for continental is expensive if you only want a coffee and some fruit! Manager of catering v efficient and rules with a rid of iron. Poolside good but too many pigeons in the swimming pool. Need to do something about that. Good food at poolside bit drinks extortionately expensive. 4 euros for sparkling water!! Overall good but perhaps in need of a refresh.
