Eva and Claude are the fabulous owner/operators of this most charming hotel, set in the most perfect spot, in Salon-de-Provence. The city is a wonderful experience of a smaller Provence city with great character. This hotel is in the THE perfect spot, overlooking the Mushroom Tree and lovely square full of restaurants. The rooms were big, quite, full of charm, and perfect. The baths well-done. We came by train and a free city bus picks up there every few minutes and carries you the short mile to the stop across from Grand Hotel de La Poste The breakfast was the best we had in our 3 week journey. The walk anywhere was easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel as an all-time favorite.

Room Tip: Our 2nd floor suite overlooking the square was perfect, and my friend and I enjoyed having seperate...

Salon is good place to base yourself in Provence if you are driving. All the main destinations are with in 30 minutes drive. Salon has a great market on Wednesday AM and don't miss the fantastic military museum.
The hotel is very central, our triple room on the 2nd floor was great, spacious with a nice view. The stairs were no problem. Raking is 5 minutes walk and good value at 8 euro a day, you get a card from the hotel for access. Very good Vietnamese/sushi restaurant nearby.

We loved this hotel and Salon, our only regret was having a schedule and not being able to spend much more time here. We were headed into southern France and decided Salon was in our direction rather than going into Marseilles. What was an intended convenience stopover turned out to be a certain destination on our next trip, we really need to go back here.

Our room was recently decorated and very comfortable. The hotel fronts on a plaza with a great selection of restaurants in every direction, Plus there are numerous historical sites in an easy walk.

Air France managed to lose our bags but seemed to have a handle on where they were. When only one bag showed up the innkeeper took the paper work and called Air France to chase down the other bag. She was successful and within a few hour we had fresh clothes and a fresh attitude. She was so nice about it and made us feel this was jut a simple matter for them that they expected to handle, Now that is service and with smiles and much other helpful advice on Salon.

I'd also add that she gave us easy directions from the air terminal to a bus stop, bus identification for an fun and inexpensive trip to the hotel,

Can't say enough, if you are in Salon you should stay here!!

The hotel is located in the old center of lovely Salon de Provence. The owners really take time for their guests and can tell you all about the history of the little city. The room was big en cool, the bath room was recently refurbished. We will definitely return to this hotel and recommend others to stay there as well.

Room Tip: all rooms are air conditioned so all rooms are good.

We turned up having not booked in advance. The owners were so accommodating and we got a superior room. the hotel is smack bang in the centre of Salon and the hotel offers 5.50e parking which is a bargain. The room was big with a/c and a good shower. The honour bar in reception was a nice touch and I would heartily recommend this place. We just stayed 1 night. Breakfast was nice, lovely croissants and bread etc.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Salon. Owners are very pleasant and helpful. Check in was efficient, they have an honour fridge in the lobby in case you need a snack or drink! Our rooms were relatively big, well appointed, very clean and air-conditioned! We had a view of the square below with the "tree fountain". Beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Hotel is in the perfect location, a few steps to restaurants, just off the main street. There is no parking at the hotel but they have a deal with a nearby parking garage for 5 euros a night which I thought was a good deal. Its about a 5 min walk from the garage. Great hotel in a quaint little provencal town. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Salon or visiting Provence.
