Description: Cuis’In is a spacious restaurant, which appears at the same time modern and cosy. The place’s atmosphere reflects the attitude of its three owners. It is a restaurant created by friends for friends. Even if you come the very first time to this place, you feel comfortable. The tables are not standing too close to each other, there are also coffe tables and we play music like Nova and Buddha bar which is creating a lounge bar atmosphere. The whole place is inviting you to relax. Concerning the menu, we choose fresh products which we cook in a very special way: The chef had a star in the Michelin guide! Our highlights : - Some traditional meals of the South like for example knuckle of lamb, tripes and pork’s feet, traditional dried codfish paste…- The « tartines » - slices of the famous Poilane bread , with fresh products or cooked meals (ratatouille, codfish paste, eggplant caviar) on it, served with a season’s soup or a salad. - Original mixed salads with many different specialities of the South. - Beef tartare charolais sliced with a knife, which is the real originality of our restaurant. And we also have a special catering service on demand…

We have eaten here before and enjoyed it very much, so we were looking forward to having lunch here again. Both the food and the service were good but our overall experience was spoiled by the manner in which we were hustled out. We were more or less finished - I had just replaced the coffee cup on its saucer and wanted to sit a few minutes more when the waitress came and cleared away the cups. We were then presented with the bill, which we had not asked for. Then the (I assume) proprietor came over with the card machine, again unsummoned (and indeed we intended to pay by cash). I could maybe sympathise if it had been late but this was at 2:30. We felt we were being hustled out and the whole mellowness, the sign of a good lunch, vanished.
