“Diffucult to carry your own luggages to the second floor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

This is a small hotel. When we arrived thre the door was clısed so we had to wait 15-20 minutes.
There is no lift and no one to help you carry your luggages to the up floors. We had a big luggage so that we had very much difficulty to carry them.
Breakfast is poor; the lady gives you even the water glass by glass. I didn't like the hotel.

Very friendly staff! The rooms are small but very comfortable and cozy. Very convenient location, walking distance from Centre Commercial Courier, old centre ville and restaurants. We enjoyed our three-day stay in Annecy very much!

My wife and I stayed for three nights at this little hotel and had no issues. The rooms were clean, good WiFi and the hotel was within close proximately to the old quarters of town (15 minutes walk). The location is not far from the main train station and in a quiet safe area.

The lady who owned the hotel enjoyed meeting and talking to her guests. She took great pride in the presentation of her little hotel.

We stayed in two rooms during our stay and the first room had the second smallest toilet i have ever come across. The first was in Leppo in Syria. The toilet was not a problem.

We managed to get safe street parking outside the hotel.

The Hotel de Paris is a good priced hotel in Annency. The reception was very cordial. We had two rooms reserved and she upgraded one of the rooms to a larger room for free for our friends traveling with a baby. She also gave detailed directions and drew on a map for nearby parking and the best walking route to the old town and the lake. The hotel was affordable for the area, but in my opinion was still a little pricey for the value and for being end of season. Some things you should know: the free parking nearby mentioned is actually just street parking, we got lucky and found a spot nearby but it was all luck. Also, it's about 15 minutes to walk to old town. There isn't much around the hotel for touring purposes. The walk home from old town/the lake late at night could be a little nerve wrecking if you are alone (we were in a group of 5) because of some of the transients near the gare. Lastly, the hotel has a list of don'ts in each room, including no alcohol in the room, that was disheartening for a traveler in france that wants to save money and enjoy a glass of wine and a cheap boulangerie meal in their room (or on one of the great patios in some of the rooms). Overall, the hotel is a good price for the area if you are ok with a few sacrifices. It was clean, the reception was nice, and for the area it was affordable.

Nice location away from the Old Town, but close enough to walk. The room was quite small and the room had no way to get air through the room. Fortunately, they had a small fan in the room which helped a lot. The breakfast was very good quality. And the inn keeper was very nice and helpful and spoke very good English. All in all, it was a good value.

Very nice hotel for a stay in Annecy. The ladies on reception were very helpful and nice. Spoke good English. We had a room with a balcony which was very nice. Very fussy hotel decoration wise, but nice with it. Rooms small but made no difference. Everything you wanted, WiFi worked well also. We booked car parking which was in a closed garage just down the street. For 6 Euros this was great. Breakfast very good. Could not fault this hotel and would definately think to stay here again if in Annecy.

My wife and I spent two nights here over the summer time (June). The on street parking was fine, staff very and nice-multilingual (fluent English), breakfast good and rooms in good order. Come to Annecy when the local market is on. We came for the Tuesday morning market, which was well worth it.
