Another wonderful Summer stay with Jackie and David at Vert et Blanc this season, this is my 5th stay at the chalet. Beautiful alpine surroundings, well located for Summer activities and outdoor pursuits. The generous breakfast each morning, comfortable cosy bedrooms and well stocked ensuite bathroom ensure you feel pampered and energised each day. The attention to detail makes a stay here special every time, year after year.

Had a lovely week stay here and was thoroughly looked after. Jackie and David are excellent hosts and the facilities were of the highest standard. A big guest kitchen with full access to prepare own food and and beautiful views of Mont Blanc from the large deck. A 20 minute walk from the center of Chamonix but buses run regularly, and it's also a lovely walk along a mountain river.

Stayed at Vert et Blanc for 5 nights while in town to run the Mont Blanc Marathon. My room was lovely and had a direct view of the glacier. The chalet is just a short walk from town down a trail along the river. It was a beautiful 15 minute walk into town each day. The divine smell of croissants baking in the oven every morning was enough to get me out of bed early each day. I really enjoyed my stay and Jackie was a terrific host.

We celebrated mums 60th birthday at the chalet and it was everything we hoped it would be and more! David and Jackie did so much to make us welcome. They have rennovated this chalet themselves and they are rightly proud of their home which we were very fortunate to share! It's location was ideal with awesome views of mont blanc and only a short walk along the river into town. Whether you want to relax and unwind or want to get stuck into the mountain and its activities this is the place to do it from!
Our five year olds, us thirty somethings and the oldies(!) all had a great time and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you David and Jackie, we'll be back!

Our 2 night stay at Vert et Blanc, Chamonix in early May, 2011 was very pleasant, and our room and ensuite on the first floor were very clean, comfortable quiet and peaceful. The bed and pillows with lovely crisp linen were very comfortable.
Jackie and David are very hospitable, warm and friendly hosts. Breakfast was served in the dining room, with juice, cereal, yogurt, eggs cooked which ever way one liked, toast and tea or coffee.
The chalet is beautifully restored by the owners, very warm and cosy, with the most amazing views of the mountains, especially Mont Blanc.
Jackie and David are very helpful hosts, giving good advice, especially where the weather is concerned, which we found very helpful as our visit, by necessity was short, so we wished to make the most of our time in Chamonix. We were able to enjoy the rack train to the glacier and the beautiful ice cave, the awesome cable car ride to the top of the Aiguille du Midi with absolutely breathtaking views! And walking around Chamonix in Spring was delightful. Excellent restaurants are plentiful. Jackie and David gave us great recommendations!
On site parking is a big plus, and Jackie and David are very willing to collect their guests from the train station.
Thank you Jackie and David for a warm and memorable stay. We recommend this lovely B&B whether a couple or a group.

A group of 10 of us stayed here having just finished the Tour du Mont Blanc and having stayed in some very average accomodation this was sheer pleasure from start to finish. We were made to feel very welcome, the facilities are fantastic (how many palces can you relax in a hot tub with a view of the mountains above and an honesty bar in the next room?) and the breakfast brilliant. I've travelled a lot and this is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in.
