“Tasty food and gluten free oasis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

We traveled from Paris, to Dijon, to Chamonix....and, finally, a restaurant to smile about. Great service, great food (including gluten free lava cake for dessert) and the best house made limoncello.
Even if you can eat gluten, try the housemade gluten free bread! The server was even kind enough to give me extra to have for traveling.
Great spirted owners and a real treat...don't miss it!

“A must visit in Chamonix Sud.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014 via mobile

Great natural food. One place in Chamonix where a vegan and a meat lover can eat at the same place and both enjoy. Worth booking an evening.

“High quality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014

Can't understand some of the negative reviews. We did wait maybe fifteen minutes when we arrived to order but once we did so the service was both efficient and friendly. But most of all the food was really top class. Not just simple Italian dishes but lovely combinations of creative cuisine where there is an Italian influence, a Savoyard influence and a very contemporary twist. We will have this high on our list of restaurants to visit again if (when) we return to Chamonix.

“Bad pasta, bad service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014

Do not be fooled by the gorgeous building and romantic atmosphere.
Do not, whatever you do, order the pumpkin raviolo - it tastes like mulled wine and it will cost you a fortune.
If you do complain - however nicely and constructive you do it- do not expect them to do anything. They will tell you your taste buds are not sophisticated enough to understand the nuanced flavours of their dishes. You will go home annoyed and determined to post a bad review on tripadvisor, just like we did after visited this place a few weeks ago.

“Very bad experience, not to recommend”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2014

We - my boyfriend and two friends of ours - went to L'Impossible for New Year's Eve and had a really dreadful experience: The food was very simple and plain (one course was basically just naked pasta), which makes the €170 price per head absolutely impossible to justify. The service was very unpleasant and extremely slow - we had to wait c. 1h between each course so that we had to rush off and actually skip the last course in order to be able to celebrate midnight in the city center. Chamonix is full of nice restaurants so would really recommend to avoid this one!
