Al and Debbie are brilliant and nothing was to much trouble, there were seven of us in the party and we don't normally right reviews but felt like we needed to because we had such a good time ! The chef dave made us fantastic food and Lydia the host was very efficient ! All in all you would not be disappointed with a stay at the chalet and chamonix ! All the best from mark and the boys !

Myself and my sister tried skiing a few years ago and to be honest it wasn't for us. However friends and partners do so 5 of us went last week. 3 skiers and us 2 lazy ones. We had the best time. The chalet is perfectly loacted for both skiers and non skiers and myself and my sister found plenty to do - trip to Courmayer (which Al the owner kindly took us too), spa, snow shoeing, walking, shopping etc. The chalet is lovely with comfy rooms, lots of hot water and great communal space too. The food was amazing and the wine flowed......2 of my favourite things!

Staying here didn't feel like hiring out a chalet it felt like staying with friends as Al and Debbie can't do enough for you.

Only major downside.....you have to go home at some point!

Another white Christmas in Chalet Blanche. The kids had a fantastic time on the slopes whilst we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the very comfortable chalet. Food excellent and plentiful wine, Debbie and Al very accommodating hosts as usual. Many thanks again.

We stayed as a group of mums accompanied by our teenage daughters, Debbie and alistair did everything they could to accommodate our needs, airport transfers, ski hire etc. The teenagers went staight for the hot tub whilst we relaxed with a glass of champagne on our first evening. Meals were plentiful and delicious and the chalet is an easy walk into the town of an evening although we were dropped at the ski lift each morning. The rooms were comfortable and well kept as was the chalet although the lounge area was a little on the small side but a great afternoon tea served each day , We will definetly go back .

I watched a tv programme many years ago about some 'nutters' who switched life form boring UK management to the stunning Alps and remember thinking "lucky buggers".

So in 2004 when taking clients skiing this seemed the place to go.

After a wkend 'recon' trip in Dec 03 to make sure all was well, we took over Chalet Blanche in 3rd wk of Jan 04, with its then 7 bedrooms with Al & Debbie living cooking and running it all from downstairs.
It was a bit of a leap of faith as we had never taken clients away before but Al & Debbie made it look like we had been entertaining this way all our lives- their service was excellent, their enthusiasm endless.
They organised a superb guide for us ( Oli of Prestige Outdoor Chamonix ) who took us all out, split us into likeminded groups and his team of guides then found our level and made us ski beyond it every run. Fantastic guides and a brilliant referral from A & D.

The chalet is located about 10 mins walk into town, so not a problem for evening beers, and if 50m is the furthest that you will walk , well luckily there is a good bar and excellent restaurant close by.

Skiing in Chamonix is spread out so either have a car, take the regular ski bus, or get a guide who will pick you up at 8.15 am and drop you home exhausted and ready for the hot tub !!

Not only did we have a superb experience but all our clients loved the place and a number have returned independently.

So of course we were forced to do it all again with another group in Jan 05 (plus that cheeky recon trip again in Dec 04...well it might have changed !!!)

This time the ground floor was added to the accom so we had 8 bedrooms. The experience was excellent again, Oli superb and I have been itching to go back every since.

Highly recommended- all 4 trips were 1st class

thank you both

Room Tip: Top tip.....book early as they get full very quickly !

We were apprehensive as a group of sixteen lads when we saw Ali, Debs and the girls as we wanted a week away from 'the woman'. our stay was AMAZING, food superb and when we were late home for our meal, we weren't,t nagged at!! In fact it was so good we are going back in February 2013 because its one of the best trips we've done in 28 years..
