We had a wonderful time in the Chalet and Al the host was more than accomodating! The location is great and view is splendid. Best of all we enjoyed the jacuzzi right beneath the alps. Thanks again for hosting us:)

I wish I could give 6 stars to this pretty chalet in a beautiful location. Right from the hospitality rendered to us by Debbie and Al to the comfort of the chalet itself this place has it all. Beautiful french alps views from the chalet. For the rates charged, this is more than value for money. You not only have a decent sized room given to you but also a common large dining room and living room around, which you could use freely. Breakfast though not very elaborate is excellent with a variety of jams, croissants, youghurts, eggs etc The quality of everything in the chalet right from the interiors to the central heating to the bath is top class. The owners were more than willing to help for every personal requirement and never made you feel that they were getting disturbed for any query. They went out of the way to arrange an escort back to the airport since we were driving at 4 am in the morning
I wish Debbie and Al all the best and congratulate them for this top class chalet with a homely touch. Cant think of staying anywhere else whenever I go back to chamonix.

This is now the fourth time I have returned to Chalet Blanche and it was, quite simply, brilliant. Debbie and Al provide a really warm welcome and an outstanding service. I travelled solo this time round and, unlike so many other chalets, wasn't stung for single occupancy of the room which was great. Accommodation is warm, comfortable and relaxed, and the food, courtesy of Rowan the chef, was outstanding. A return shuttle mini-bus service is included to all of the main ski areas in Chamonix which is really handy, and relaxing in the lounge after a day on the slopes, looking up at the mountains with a glass of wine to hand, is surely one of the best experiences! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chalet Blanche and will hopefully be back next year.

Stayed here with the wife March 2013 and had a great week. Our hosts Deb and Al were brilliant and attentive at all times. The chalet was spotlessly clean and comfortable and food served was first class. Rooms were large, bright and airy with great views of the mountains. Our bed was extremely comfortable. We were transported to whatever mountain we wanted each day and on one day Al took us to Italy to ski for the day which I thoroughly enjoyed. We had a cake and tea at 5pm each night, pre-dinner drinks and there was plenty of wine to drink during the very substantial 3-course evening meal. Chef had one day off mid-week so we hopped, skipped and jumped to the Jekyll which was a short walk away (actually Al dropped us off) and we had a few beers and a tidy meal. Overall the holiday was brilliant, I would definitely return to this chalet as it offered everything I needed for a brilliant ski holiday.

Hubby and I stayed here for the week (16 March2013). Debbie organised our pickup from Geneva airport with ChamVan who were great. On arrival we were met by both Debbie and Al. Our room was on the top floor and had outstanding views of the snow clad mountains. It was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and a perfect size for our week's vacation. The sitting/tv area is on the middle floor, so again great views of the mountains and was large with plenty of seating, a log fire and an adjoining kitchen to make yourself hot drinks should you wish. There was an "honest bar" stacked with plenty of cold drinks, water, beer and wine and cheap as chips!. Each evening we had pre-dinner drinks at 7.15pm and tea, biscuits and a different flavour fresh cake was served every afternoon at 5pm for the hungry skiers (and non-skiers). The dining room was on the ground floor, very large and spacious with an open plan kitchen so we could see and chat with the chef (Dave) who cooked an outstanding 3-course meal each night and even catered admirably for me being the only vegetarian guest that week. There was plenty of wine at the table. Dave cooked everything fresh. Timing was perfect and the meal flowed with no long delays between courses. Dave is lovely and if you requested something different then he always obliged. Lydia was the chalet host - lovely young lady, buzzing with lots of info about the area and did a grand job hosting. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of choice with cereals (at least 6 different choices on the table) cold meats, cheese, bacon, sausages, fresh bread, fresh hot croissants (chocolate and plain) and any eggs you wanted. I think one day we had Dave/Lydia cooking fried, omelette, boiled, scrambled and poached all in one sitting and no complaints lol!!!!!! As said, nothing was too much trouble. They also made up extra food so the guests could make up a packed lunch to save their pennies (or cents) on the mountain as food is rather expensive on the mountain and so this was great. There was a heated area for skis and boots. Outside there was a jacuzzi which comfortably seated 5-6 people and was bubbling hot and a joy to sit in with a beer and soak up the gorgeous views of the mountain - sheer bliss! After supper it was back to the lounge where tea/coffee was served along with a bottle of port and a bottle of brandy. Each morning Al or Debbie arrived to help with transporting the guests to any mountain they wished and that included a weekly trip to Italy. transport back was also organised for whatever time the skier wished. Our holiday was perfect (apart from me taking a fall on day one which put paid to any skiing for me - all say ahhhhhhhhhh). I have stayed in a few chalets before but never one that cleans your room every day! Thanks to Maryanne we had a clean bedroom/bathroom every day. What a bonus! Chalet Blanche is just perfect and I give it 5 stars. Debbie and Al are great hosts and no wonder there is no going back for them as they have a gem of a place which they have built and designed to be the perfect home from home for their guests. Would I return - most definitely. Would I recommend to friends family - most definitely. Would I recommend to you - 110%. Go take a look for yourself - you won't be disappointed. We certainly weren't and so a big thank you to Al and Debbie and also to Dave, Lydia and Maryanne for everything and we will be back soon, that we promise.

Our host went out of their way to ensure our ski holiday was a great experience. All levels of ability were catered for and nothing was to much trouble. This was our first stay at Chalet Blanche and we cannot wait to go back again. We were so impressed with the hospitality provided that we have already booked our holiday for 2014 at Chalet Blanche. All the staff team were friendly and helpful. The Chef went out of his way to ensure all dietary needs were catered for and in particular that appropriate food was avalible for the various age groups of the children staying at the Chalet. The location is perfect for tips into the town and onward journeys for sight seeing. There is a fantastic array of ski slopes for all abilities with transport provided to get you there and back. If fact so much was organised by Debs and AL that the holiday just flowed without a hic up. We were so impressed that we have already booked our holiday for 2014 with them. If we were able we would make this destination more than once in a year and would love to be back ther now. Summer vacations seem to be a great break so although skiing is our thing we may well try a summer break there some time. Sooooooooo Impressed.

We have just had a great week at Chalet Blanche. The chalet is spotless, the food is fantastic, the spa is hot and the beer is cold, can't ask for more! Debbie, Al & the chalet staff were all very hospitable and helpful when it came to suggestions of other places to visit when the weather wasn't so great for skiing.
