Description: Installed on small chairs like the pasture and under the old wood paneling of the reconstructed farmhouse is a cuisine to be enjoyed on checkered tablecloths our country restaurant. Back in time to rediscover the old-those dishes simmered by our grandmothers, who hummed hours on the wood stove - is what we offer to our guests. Summer on the terrace facing Mont Blanc, the winter near the terminal, high Savoyard fireplace, is enchaineront popular dishes of popular cuisine: calf's head invigorates sauce, grilled pigs feet, the bowl Chicken liver, the roast lamb on the spit, pike quenelles in crayfish sauce, Piedmontese risotto or fried whitefish fillet. Of course, the chef Stephane Gassot did not forget to revisit some cheese specialties and bring up to date the classic old desserts. Tasty, tasty, real Proust's madeleine that will make you relive with emotion the exquisite flavors of the cuisine of yesteryear Alps. Perpetual ode to our ancestors who cooks ends with this "vre" garni thousand pies and gourmet coffee that can be enjoyed chocolates and cookies, all prepared in the kitchens of our establishment. In the dining room, our director Serge Ratton will offer you the most suitable wine to your desires and your dishes with a selection of fine wines from France, including wines from regional varieties of the best winemakers.

We visited Le Maison Carrier whilst staying at the hotel Le Hameau Albert 1er. We went there for lunch for our first day in Chamonix and had a variety of dishes. They offer a smaller buffet with salads, cured meat, cheese and vegetables which was perfect for lunch. They also had some heavier dishes such as lamb and chicken, which both tasted delicious and was served in creative ways.

A big plus was the dessert buffet where you could have pies, cakes, fruits and cheese - all tasting very good. We would love to return!

This is the "second" restaurant of the luxury hotel Albert Premier and it emphasizes french regional cooking.in a warm and cosy atmosphere. We had dinner there twice during our week stay in Chamonix this summer and were very pleased both times. I had a "Boudin" as starter which you do not get everywhere followed by a fishdish from nearby lake Lemon. As dessert you can get either a cheese trolley or an dessert trolley which becomes more and more rare in France. From both you can have "as much as you can eat".
As for wine we appreciated that they had open wines so you could order 50 centiliter which is perfect for two when a half bottle is to little to share and a full bottle to much. Of course they have a winelist from all over France but the local Savoi wines are the appropriate choice for a meal here.
If you find their a la carte a bit pricy then there are also fixed price set menues to choose from.
We were most satisfied with both service and atmosphere and will definitely come back next time in Chamonix.

The moment we entered the restaurant we felt very welcome. The staff was friendly, polite and very professional. The restaurant itself is very cozy and and we felt like at home. Food/wine was very good, well cooked, full of taste and portions were generous. Correct prices. We left very satisfied.

This was our third time there to ski, and we skipped the main restaurant on property but did eat here. We had breakfast twice (very good) and dinner once. Always consistent and very good local food. We will be going back next time in Chamonix

We had a great meal made with very local ingredients. Even before the meal officially started the bread and local cold cuts (shown in the picture curing in the restaurant) were delicious. The restaurant itself looks like an old farmhouse on the inside, and is very cute and charming. The set menu was more than enough and the dessert bar of 'grandmother's tarts' had almost 15 different types of cakes, pastries, mousses, puddings, etc.
