Hi, like several of the people who have recently commented on "The Eden" ... over many years we have eaten there and loved it, great food, ambiance and charm. Two years ago it was taken over by a Russian and rapidly went downhill. We swore we'd never go again ... BUT ... we were walking in the area two weeks ago, it was sunny and the terrace looked inviting so we thought "why not" ... we were served by the new manager, a very friendly Russian ("Olga") who explained that it had been sold in May, 2014 and the new (still Russian) owners were trying to significantly improve it having heard all the horror stories about their predecessors. At the time of our visit they were trying to recruit a chef .... they were friendly and I do hope they can turn it around ... I'd be interested to hear of others experience in the coming weeks/months ..
