From outside this does not look much of a place - but once in the small restaurant comes alive.
The tables are very very close together; and the menu is a little vast to look at - but once sat down you realise why so many people come back here.
The service from one of the hardest working waitresses I have ever seen is friendly and efficient - effectively juggling many tables and orders at the same time.
The food is the best I've had in Chamonix for a non gastronomic type restaurant - homely, filling and huge portions. The baked dishes - particularly the (sorry can remember name of dish) but pancake with ham baked with rubochin with a salad was fantastic. even the home made burger tasted like non had before.
It is small; and even on quiet night full - but worth the effort visiting - if only to watch the staff working - entertainment in itself and an example on how to make customers feel welcome and valued.
