Love, love, love this hotel. The room was huge and spotless. The service was fabulous. It was my wife's birthday and they sent up champagne and candy. We are American and this place meets the standards of any 5 star hotel in the US.

Lovely hotel in lovely location. The rooms, bedding, bathrooms, service, location, pool, view and bar were all superb!!! We visited in June and this hotel was perfect location. I don't know how this would work for a ski trip as rooms although lovely, we're not huge. The junior suite, which friends were staying in was spacious and would work with extra ski gear. We had connecting rooms to accommodate my family and it worked well.

Such a beautiful location. The bar and library area was very relaxing and beautifully decorated. There was outdoor seating and a pool area that captured the sun and views beautifully. The staff of this hotel were friendly and very helpful. Would love to return to this hotel in winter.

We stayed at hotel Mont Blanc to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday from Canada.
From the moment I began to email the hotel to ask questions the staff stood out as responsive caring and entirely happy to go above and beyond to make our stay amazing.
They arranged for an airport transfer to and from Geneva that was seamless and right on time.
The hotel itself is in a perfect location and is gorgeous!!
The room itself was a bit tiny but had everything we needed. As we admired the stunning view from our balcony a bottle of sparkling wine and a few treats arrived - only one example of how they go over and above.
We enjoyed the spotless gym every morning with state of the art equipment
The swim out outdoor heated pool was an experience we will not forget. The steam coming off the water was relaxing and luxurious and the views spectacular. I do agree that a ladder or other access from the pool to the hot tub would be very helpful as it was a long walk around the pool to get into the hot tub and the air was cool.
the quiet relaxation room was a most pleasant surprise. Tea and snacks in a spa like atmosphere was the perfect end to every day.
As we left the hotel Mont Blanc vowing to return we realized that we had forgotten to post 2 postcards to our children. The front desk staff did not hesitate for one moment to not only post them for us but to also purchase stamps as our transfer back to the airport was already waiting.
Over and above and so very greatly appreciated!!
We will most certainly return to Chamonix and will only stay at the hotel mont Blanc.
Thank you for the very best 50th birthday we could have hoped for!!!

We stayed here for our first visit to Chamonix. Positioned just one street back from the main activity but also on the edge of town, great spot with fabulous views of the mountains. We stayed in a standard room and I must say it was lovely, very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Hotel facilities were second to none, a beautiful spa, outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, a nice bar and lounge area and lovely food. The staff could not do enough for us. The hotel provided it's own minibus transfers to and from the slopes which I think in Chamonix is definitely a bonus as the slopes are on both sides of the valley and also some distance apart.

Room Tip: We had a room to the back of the hotel which gave a great view straight up the mountain.

I spent four nights at this hotel two weeks ago. This was my third visit and first since the revovation. There is nothing I can add to the comments about what a great property this is. The service is outstanding and the staff goes to great lengths to make your stay memorable. I have stayed on all sides of this hotel and this time on the town side. I was a guest when the weather was warm and the windows needed opening at night. This was a problem due to the noise late at night from the street. I add that most hotels in most alpine areas do not nor need air conditioning; and of course in the winter windows are firmly closed. Also hotels cannot really be resonsible for people who are noisy on the street. Nevertheless being honest its difficult to say that "sleep quality" was excellent when it was not. I have had a better breakfast. All things considered I would and plan to return and will stay at this hotel. There is none better in the Town and the staff deserve to be pointed out as outstanding.

Room Tip: I might consider asking to be on the mountain side next time because of the noise.

This was a our first trip to Chamonix and I will be upfront in saying we are not skiers so this review is not written from a skier's perspective. What a fantastic hotel. Housed in a century old building, the interior has been completely gutted and redecorated. It was only re-opened earlier this year. It looks completely modern, stylish and luxurious. We had the suite and a junior suite and both were stunning. Beautiful interiors and pearl mosaic tiled bathrooms that look like a modern showroom. The lobby, library, spa and gym look more like what you would expect to see in a luxurious and modern five star city hotel. The swimming pool is very large by French standards and there is a great outdoor jacuzzi as well. My only negative comment is that there is no temperature controlled aircon. It is probably unnecessary for most of the year and during the ski season (there are heaters) but I would expect all five star properties to have aircon to meet the needs of individual guests at any time of year. Still, I would say this place deserves it's five star rating. We saw nothing in Chamonix that even comes close!

Room Tip: The rooms with views of Mont Blanc are truly worth it. Simply stunning especially at twilight.

This hotel was wonderful- beautiful views, lovely bar, excellent location near town center, but two things made it exceptional. They shuttle you to the lifts in the morning with all your ski crap in a private BMW and pick you up when you text them at the end of the day!. No lugging ski paraphernalia up the mountain or waiting for a crowded bus or needing your own transportation. Major spoiling! Second, my husband had a ski crash our last day and was taken to the hospital for a torn ACL. I called the hotel and our favorite driver, Andre, met us at the hospital. Just seeing him striding down the hall to assist was like a lifeline. He helped me maneuver the French paperwork and half-carried my husband to the car and back to our hotel room (they don't give out crutches or meds at the hospital, you have to get it later yourself at a pharamcie). Andre made a difficult experience so much more workable. We absolutely plan to return next year (with a sport brace). The place was expensive, but worth it.

Room Tip: We faced the front of the hotel which had the best mountain views, but in the early morning you coul...
