“Gorgeous spot!”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

A forest with a gentle stream, just outside Chamonix. We took the bus to Les Praz and then walked for 20 minutes through the golf course to reach it. The kids had pony rides and played on the park, but by far the most popular feature is the glacial stream. It was 35 degrees Celsius that day in Chamonix but this stream is fed by melting glaciers and is incredibly cold! You can drink the water it's so pure. The kids absolutely loved playing in the water - it's shallow and slow-flowing, unlike the main Arve river flowing through Chamonix.

“Beautiful spot, a short stroll from Chamonix”
Reviewed 9 August 2013

This is a great spot for an easy walk, to climb or just to chill and relax. Plenty of picnic spots and a great treetop adventure park for the kids. Walks are all signed clearly and plenty of variety. good parking too.

“Lovely spot, highly recommended”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 via mobile

We came upon this little oasis whilst cycling the area one day on holiday. Lots of picnic tables & benches although couldn't find a loo. Very pleasant, calming area, seemed lots for kids to do although most seemed content to play in the water. Had drinks from the cafe, lovely place. Didn't eat as we had brought a picnic but nice choice of lunch-time snacks available. Approx 15-20 mins away by bike and maybe an hour or less if walking from Chamonix. This was a good find.

“Cool oasis for families with children”
Reviewed 23 July 2012

Passed through this a few times while running and it looks like a cool little oasis for families with children. There's a lovely clean little stream with paddle boat, ponies to ride on short little trips though the forest and a small cafe. The facilities are quite basic but perfectly adequate and the share of the trees are a welcome relief on warm days. It's a wonderland for children and a nice relaxing space for Mums and Dads.

“A gem in the forest like a paradise”
Reviewed 30 July 2011

Paradis des Praz is an idyllic spot along a stream with an outdoor play area for kids both in summer and winter. In summer there are ponies, a sledge run, an aerial runway, a small lake for swimming etc. In winter Paradis des Praz offers snow rafting for the kids. There is a small restaurant that serves drinks and snacks. The area is behind the golf course in Les Praz,/ Les Bois
