I was recently in Chamonix with the 2012 Telethon Adventurer's team (Rick, Wayne, Sacha, Shawn, Christine and me - Moira) for the Chamonix Challenge. Our visit included a climb of Gran Paradiso, white water rafting, ziplining, parapenting, rock climbing and luge. Rick Parish is the founder of the Telethon Adventurer's. Rick tragically lost his 4 year old son Elliot to brain cancer in February last year and he and the Adventurer's are on a mission to win the war on childhood cancer by raising money for life-changing research. Our trip was big - we worked hard and we played hard. We came across Yvonne from the Bar du Moulin completely by chance and we ended up frequenting the bar most nights we were in Chamonix. The music was great, the service super friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. The drink selection was also excellent. Meeting Yvonne and going to her bar was a highlight of our trip and I highly recommend it!
